IF we even get an FAQ group, make them be on GK and active so they can actaully run around and help out people. Don't need to bug people on RC all day do they?

Besides I thought it was against some rule somewheres to use monsters to kill someone.

Idling is if you are logged on but you aren't at your computer so you are not able to interact. In other words have a look at some of the guys on Debug who stay online if they are actually asleep. That's idling and not if you are online and wait for something to happen to give an extreme example.

Bjorn plain and simple ITS STUPID TO GIVE THEM RC ACCESS. They don't need it. They are on to INTERACT with the players and give them help if they ask for it. That DOESN'T requre RC access. Exactly what other non noob server do that? These people are there to INTERACT with the players not sit off server on RC and probably not come on. Your making it worse for newer players.

Heck today I will use myself as an example. People have actually come to know me a bit better and I have questions thrown at me quite a bit. Today I helped two people reset and to answer their questions. Funny thing is one of them never heard of you Bjorn. Your not on enough.

I would love to do FAQ along with my EM job but I wouldn't want RC access because the players need you there physically on the server and its the better of the two ideas.

Besides if you go on staff tag of any type you show up in the playerlist under the word "Staff"

There isn't really much of a reason not to give rightless RC to FAQs. But then there isn't really much of a reason not to just give rightless RC to every player.

Also, I don't know why you guys seem primarily concerned with people intentionally idling on RC as some kind of "corrupt" act. I'd think that people minimizing their RC and just forgetting that they have it on would be far more likely to happen.

If I become FAQ and get RC I wouldn't use it unless it's the only way to go on-tag or something stupid like that happens.

Quite a simple answer, no. Maybe on your playerworld but on GK developers have no access to the RC on GK.

No GK RC isn't for dev but IT SHOULD NOT BE FOR FAQ.

They need to be on the server and not on that idiotic thing. YOu help someone you be there on the server. Especially if its just for FAQ. For other stuff that take rights then yes GK RC I can see.

Think about it, it's not pointless. It's just securety. Dev's have access on debug so you can be sure everything is checked that gets on to GK.

The issue of RC shouldn't be eclipsing the issue of the actual creation of a FAQ team. Seeing as the biggest threat is people idling, and most of the people interested in becoming FAQ probably wouldn't use it unless forced to, if Bjorn really wants to give FAQ RC it should be fine. More important is that a FAQ team actually is created.

Agreed Googi that is important but the ball is in his court now. he's either not going to do it or he will then later on down the road problems might arise and we will hear about it.

Actually it doesn't make a difference if someone asks you if it is possible to start all over again. All you do is telling him to command or would you show him how it works and reset yourself?
