Well I tried on my other computer to run graal, but that computer broke down on me I can't seem to run a second windows because vista can't be removed and many other stuff. Although it seems to play a little well fullscreened, it still randomly crashes. When I run it fullscreen, it seems to let me play longer...

You do not know what you are talking about; that is impossible right now, Vista uses a special MBR sequence that grub does not support yet, Grub is what messed it up in the first place.

I had to use mbrfix, a 3rd party program that supported vista (not the fixmbr recovery command) to fix it

Well... is graal going to be released on Vista? I have premium and it doesn't work.. I also cant buy a hard drive and get Linux... I already paid for my graal account, why should I have to spend more money to play it? Its not like vista is an unknown operating system..

So my linux install (ubuntu fiesty) isnt too great. It works for about 40 minutes, then apparently linux has some memory leaks and things just start breaking, Graal and audacious have to fight for the soundcard which makes graal lag and have no audio, or it makes audacious crash, after a while GAIM crashes, and graal is unphazed but it become a really lame work condition.

For christ sake make graal work on vista!

Ok so yesterday it was somewhat working... I had renamed it to Graal4needsalongname.exe and played and the PM thing was fixed but every time I closed the game I got an endless loop of runtime errors. So today I go to play and stuff and the PM problem is back saying Access denied or whatever the error is, it is in screenshots on previous pages so I tried moving it around I had it in C:/Program Files/Graal yesterday then today i tried C:/Users/Hobo and C:/Graal but neither helped. So now I can't get PMs and the game crashes every couple minutes.

Is their a way to fix the online download problem? I only have like 44 heads in my heads folder and I like to look through there to look at different heads and stuff. Why won't Vista hold them down?

The files are probably being redirected to the virtual store. Go to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\, and go to your Graal folder from there. This happens because program data is not supposed to be stored in Program Files.

Edit: if you don't want it to happen, you can either install Graal to somewhere other than program files, or run the program as an admin.

Okie dokie so I renamed the exe to Graallongname.exe, set it as administator and turned off all lighting effects. So far I have been playing about 10 minutes which is the longest I have gone so far now without it crashing

Edit: Err wtf I closed Graal and reopened it and the PM problem is back... so I am going to try renaming it again... thats gonna suck if I have to rename it each time.

Yeah renaming worked... but yeah wtf that sucks I will have to rename it each time.

I noticed that this shows up in my graal log alot. especially when I run Graal in fullscreen, after I minimize and maximize the screen, and just before Graal crashes...

Yeah, i've been having some problems upgrading my Ubuntu. It tried to, then tried to restart. Didn't work.

I'm also having problems displaying all of the emoticons except the Ctrl+Z emote. I'm unsure if anyone else sees the emotes I don't see (haven't asked). The 9-letter filename seems to make a little difference in PM errors, but I still get them. Also as I'm sure it's been stated before; Graal just out of nowhere dies. Other than that (and a few graphics quirks on Kingdoms; such as the Q menu and some of the tutorial icons) everything is going well and running smoothly.

Yes. I had the same problem, but after a while, I began to see them all again.

Umm on my old labtop(Windows XP) everytime I see something new. Hats, heads and shields they would be updated to my C drive or just already be on there. Yet I only have the heads shields and hat that I wore are in my C drive is this a vista problem or do everyone has this at first?

Is graal for windows vista going to be out by at least June 1st...? Is there any ETA at all? I'm about to download Linux onto my PS3 and play graal on it.

Can't give a date yet. It is not just a bug fix release.
On PS3 it is probably not running very fast because there is no accelerated OpenGL (and I'm not sure if you can run x86 programs on it).

No, only PowerPC applications. Hopefully release will be soon, getting pretty boring without Graal...
