It's not worth it. People can easily run between buildings, over grass patches, and only an idiot will get killed by a driveby shooter. Cars on Era aren't setup for it.

Not really. People in cars already only take 1/4 damage from incoming bullets, so giving them increased damage for outgoing bullets, as well as the speed that they get just from being in a car would make them nearly impossible to kill.
Even without the decreased damage, you can outrun bullets in a car, so if you're smart you should never get killed while driving.

Why should somebody that can't get killed be able to kill?

Not really. Imagine the driver actually knowing what he's doing and simply driving very slowly up to some noob with an AK47. That's not impractical.

Next time you're online we can get a car and use a 2.5dmg click-shoot gun and drive around abusing and trying to kill people, and you can see how hard it is. :{
And then imagine that same thing but with a gun that does less damage and only shoots in a couple of directions.

The problem isn't so much with the application of it because, regardless of how effective/useful it is to actually kill people, it'd still be a fun thing. But it'd be too hard to get it balanced properly.

The way I see it, you should only be able to shoot to your left and right.

Ya tracker and then after we get driveby's we can have tricycles with rocket launchers and jet packs that shot laser beams. And hopefully after that I can have my gang, The Era Layzur Warreeurz, uploaded and you can co own it and I'll give you $1000k. And then we can trot happily into the sunset.

Also, we arent going to have driveby's on Era. The idea has been given to staff over and over again for years.

So Era's been around since '03 its 07 so thats four years of existance so basically Cars have been around for 2 out of four years so MAYBE in another 2 years WE MIGHT have driveby's but do you really think tracker1337coolguy will still be playing?
