Well you could put a centralized main building on the island and spread around the mill, a well or two, maybe a wood shop, stable and a few houses thereby leaving the rest open for player housing. it will be a pain to go back and forth just for board.

well the main building isn't quite centralized but there is a comunity center. I doubt players can build mills or anything, although I'd like to. I want it to be completely self sufficent, but as of right now I'm just stock pileing alot of materials.

Anyway, Drakeeros pretty much the only one working on Zormite right now it seems with the levels...and I have too much on my dish to actually get on for more then 2 hours at most early in the mornings here...rest of the days dominated by work, and more work. >.> Bloody School...anyway, just catch my attention Jack if you need anything else.

Actually Uri I am currently working on a island for someone. they just sent me the overworld files for the island. All you need to do is send him the ones for the island or even me and either him or I can setup a nice little community on it. I would just have set a few buildings like mill, wind mill, probably a shop to get landstakes at. some road to connect the stuff.

Ok, my idea for the island. At some later expansion of the game I wanted to make that island an archeological digsite. There would be a number of NPC's working similar to quest NPC's, who would hand out small rewards for artifacts dug up from the digs around the island.

Well, when hell freezes over actually... see no one else is gonna do it, and i'm gonna have to learn how to script it all myself, and since no one's willing to teach, and I don't know how to get basic script snippets to teach myself from... that and getting Bjorn to allow it after its been done...

Mainly its that I don't want people with houses there, and then having to tell them to destroy their houses later on.

because the emporer is re-creating zormite, and plans on making the island into a geological dig site for npc's

The building of three houses being no small task, it seems unjust that this construction project, useless as it may be, is being abolished simply because the kingdom leader "plans" on putting some obscure hypothetical feature in the area, which by his own admission is unlikely to be created and approved. It seems far more likely that the staff would move the houses to the main Zormite island if some new feature was about to be uploaded than they would be to move them purely because of a request, anyways. Maybe you can get them to move them anyways if you bug them enough, though.

ALRIGHT! Since this idea is soooo far in the future.

I will hereby give Republic Island (thanks to Elizabeth for the name) a purpose!

While the soil around the rest of Zormite is rocky and not very suited for grazing animals, the dirt on Republic Island is thick and rich in nutrients, making it prime farming and garden farming.

Meaning I'd like to give the island a strong farming theme. This means that I would PREFER if the people who build houses on the island enjoy lots of farming and have picked up farming related RP professions. (Kinda like Elizabeth has chosen to be a florist.)

Hm, You know since theres sand on some parts of the island (Like where my house is)..That makes it a bit uh.. not fitting. Zormite has alot of sand that plants do not grow in .And the other pat that doesnt have sand is a far walk <-<.
