1) Not bad, but not great either.

2) In Graal? Well, it could be, but it would look friggin' rediculous.

Zodiac and Maloria seems to have a a thing for oversized weapons, so why not. Go for it.

Whatever works. I guess I can't say I hate them, since I loved Cloud's broadsword, but that's about the only one I can vouch for. Size doesn't always matter though!
