I have seen much worse English. Never bothered me because I was able to understand that the owner of the game/product was not from the US, and didn't have perfect English. Didn't put me off at all. I can see past it, and concentrate on the product.
Por que tu queres su trabajo.
But si everysomeone speaked badly. The bad would look game.

If you own a game, with most of it's customers being english speakers, and you release something to them, it should be in proper english/french/german, w/e.
It's professionalism.
Not difficult.
If a few people will be turned off, it's not worth it.
How hard is it to have someone who speaks english natively to do it?
I understand English isn't easy: so have someone who knows it well do it.
Once more: a little effort goes a long way.

I can see where some of Unixmad's mistakes come from because I study French. Unless he immersed himself in an English-speaking country and spoke nothing but English for a few years, he won't be perfect with it and you should understand that. The message is understandable, therefore it's purpose is fulfilled. Sam is right in what he says, that people who can't string together coherent text and speech in their native language are not in a position to speak. Hell, I can't understand some of your posts because they are so scattered and unstructured.

If you spoke to him in French, he would no doubt be very professional. However, it is difficult to carry that over into a second language. People learn things differently, so the least you can do is respect that he is trying.

I understand what you're saying, but there are many players who would be willing to proof read it. It's not insulting anything, it just looks more professional.

I think that's basically it.

Anyway, things are looking good so far.
