I don't understand. I am an adult, and I have recieved one warning, I think, the entire time I have been posting here, and maybe even one warning on the game itself.
I do not feel alienated just because I am an adult on a game geared towards children, and I cannot discuss adult stuff. If I wanted to do that, I could find an adult forum somewhere. I understand that my age group, and the adult age group is the minority here.
I will say it again, this is a game forum. This forum has a large variety of ages viewing it, who are members, and who post, and the majority of the members of these forums, and the game are not adults, they are children.
All you have to do is keep this in mind, and respect it, and understand it. I don't see why it is so hard.
So why are you playing a game that has the vast majority of children when you're 40+?

I'll never understand why someone would want to do that, i guess it's an American thing, sure i can understand if you started playing when you were young and you grew older whilst playing it, but even then as you get older you grow up and out of playing this game, which is the case of like 95% of my older friends who i started playing this game with, but there's no way you started playing this game when you were around 15.

Why not? Where does it say that I can't? I play it because I like it. Seems a good enough reason to me. Just like I play Mario games, Zelda, Final Fantasy, and a variety of other video games/PC games that I may come across that I like. What's the problem?

He's got a point.
It's a game meant for children, therefore, since it will not market to older audiences, you should be a child to play it.
Of course, the game doesn't dork that way, and neither should the forums. After all, there's no mods for in game chat, masses, or pm's.

No, the only point he has is that he has this image of what 40 year old should do in their life, and it isn't playing games because only children, or young adults are allowed to play games. That is false.

As for the chat on the game? Why do you think I don't play a lot anymore? Why do you think that some playerworlds are suddenly getting strict with this whole chat thing? It's horrible, that's why. I rest my case.

Hahaha Excaliber you're so funny, I like that! You should've seen Stefan and Unixmad (both proven adults) played Videongames like MarioCart and other games on the playermeeting last year.
I don't know where you live, but it sounds to me you're not from mother earth.
Stand up, go outside for house and watch the (adult) people playing all around. They are playing video games, board games, outdoor games, games on their cell phones, PC games and so on. Do you know how old the majority players are playing with model railways?
You are 18? so you're an adult. Why do you still play a kids game?

Playing Graal and being a Forum Admin are 2 differeent things. So you met her in the game and dislike to see her playing? I don't understand what this have to do with the leading of this forum. Or do you also don't understand why an adult is leading a game forum?

I do play...not as often as I would like to, but I do play occasionally.

Man would you be quiet, I'm talking to Darlene not you, I never said anything about her leading this forum, if you dont understand what i'm trying to talk to Darlene about then dont bother replying to my posts, I'm talking to her about maturity which she and others always seem to go on and on about like it's all they have to get through their days.

My point is Darlene, that you're expecting people to be 'mature' on a game and forums which in your own words are mostly full of kids (Which I disagree with anyway, on the forums part that is), I dont think any of us are mature as we claim to be, if we was, we wouldn't be playing this game..so in a sense, all of us still have abit of child in us.

I dont really care about an 18+ forum, I'm just responding to the people that seem to get a high off thinking that they're more mature than the rest of us, it's just a stupid and lazy half-assed insult that people use here, and if people were as clever as they pretend to be on these forums i'm sure they'd have better things to do than sitting on these forums trying to be the most grown-up.

She can't prove there are mostly children here. I can, however, prove that most want to be treated like adults

Personally, I don't care if the 198+ forum doesn't go into use.
But there needs to be a clear set of rules for the lounge, and they need to be different from the ones in the rest of the forums.

What? So if children wish to be treated like adults, and view adult content, we should allow it? Wrong...

The rules are fine as they are. Spark did a pretty good job with it. Just use a little common sense, keeping in mind that the forum is for 14+ (yes, children, not adults), and remember Graal is not an all adult game, and neither are the forums, and we will all get along just fine.

You say adult content like I'm posting porn.
No one is going to cry to mommy and daddy if I ask you what your favorite beer is

But it leaves too much up to the moderator digression, doesn't relax the rules on the content of the messages, other than allowing links, and the mods can remove your access forever if they like. It allows for personal feelings to come into play, and their judgment cannot be law. The forum claims to be relaxed, however, it has the same rules, and they are enforced. It's useless, and unless it's made different from the main forums, should be deleted. (Obviously, links can be posted again).

It isn't me expecting maturity, it is othe members wanting to be treated like they are mature, even if they do not show it. I never expected children to act any more mature then they are, or even adults for that matter. It isn't me that is fighting for a totally adult themed forum for "mature" adults. It isn't me fighting for the lounge to be even more slack for "mature" children/adults. I don't care how mature a person is. A child is still a child, and an adult is still an adult, whether they act mature or immature.

I'm done going in circles with you, but feel free to continue going in circles yourself if you like, for as long as this thread lasts.

Ching as you are not mature I'll forgive you
But if you really want to talk to Moonie and don't want a reply by others, you need to send her PM's. I hope you don't do that becaue we all will miss your nice posts alot.

And I can fully agree with you: in the case of playing 98% of the humans are not mature. People love to play games their whole life.

If you read my posts you would get that I am also talking about maturity, but you seems to miss what Moonie and me trying to explain. Maybe it's a question of your age why you don't understand it at last.
