Thats how the bullets would do more damage. We have bullets right now, that can either;
a)Just shoot you
b)Put a hole the size of your fist in you
c)Pierce through body armor
d)Pierce through armored vechiles
So why, in the year 3000 or w/e, cant we have the same type of bullets? We would just count this as doing more damage, instead of piercing through vechiles, and such.

According to your post you "upgrade your bullet damage" which means your bullets do more damage after you magically level up. and
