Zone RPG.
 
Well, I've thought of a Zone RPG. I was going to ask Stefan, if we could start a project like this, and have me manage it, once we were finished. I was going to try to have things end up like this:

Levels = Vulcan / Huwajux
GANI's = Vulcan / Huwajux
Scripts = Stefan / ?
GFX = Me / ?

But then I thought about that part, and figured that Stefan wouldn't allow it. So heres the idea...

Zone hasn't been doing so well. It gets very repetitive. I just started playing GK again, about a week ago, along with Graal itself. During the time that I've started playing again, I've found out a couple of things.

Zone:

-Negitives.
  • Is very repetitive.
  • Gets boring, very quickly.
  • Has small "planet" levels.
  • To many people look alike.
  • Laggy.
-Positives.[LIST][*]Nice Graphics.[*]Guns. ;)

Graal Kingdoms:

-Negitives.
  • To hard to raise your level, after about 25.
  • You have to eat like 20 times a day.
-Positives.
  • Alot of different sets of "armor" and "weapons"
  • Big "Over World(s)"
  • Not very laggy.

Now, We could try this on a "World" for Zone, and if things went well, we could make "Zone" that planet. Of course there would need alot of work for the "Planet". The size itself would have to be probly the size of the GK world map.

So, I was thinking. I thought of "Combining" Graal Kingdoms, with Zone.

-Strength (Str)
  • Determines your Weight Limit.
  • For every 2 Str points, you get 1 WC and 1 AC. After 20 points every point adds 1 WC and 1 AC.
  • Every 3 Str points adds .1 speed. After 20 points every 2 points adds .1 Speed.
  • Every 5 Str points adds 10 health points to you. After 20 points every point adds 10 Health.

-Dexterity (Dex)
  • Determines how long, and how fast you can run.
  • Every 5 Dex points adds .5 speed. After 20 points every 2 points adds .5 Speed.
  • Every Dex point adds 1 AC.

-Constitution (Con)
  • Determines your max health points.
  • Each Con point adds between 3-10 health. After 20 points each point adds 6-13 Health points.

-Intellegence (Int)
  • Determines how many bullets hit you, out of a group.
  • Determines if you have the "common sence" to use something. (ex. -To use a powerful gun, you would need alot of "common sence". Without "common sence" you wouldn't be trusted.)
  • Points.
    - 7 points = Way Below Average. Only trusted with using some Pistols, and some Rifles.
    - 12 points = A little Below Average. Trusted with all Pistols, and some Rifles, and some Grenades.
    - 15 points = Average. Trusted with all Pistols, all Rifles, and all Grenades.
    - 20 points = Trusted with everything. (Able to use any weapon.)
  • Some items require you have more than 20 int points to use.

-Energy (Energy)
  • Determines how long you can run.
  • Determines how much energy you use with weapons/items.
  • Each point adds 5 energy. After 20 points, it adds 10 energy.

-Damage (Dmg)
  • Determines how much Dmg, per bullet/stab, that your weapon does.
  • Each point adds 1 Dmg to the weapon.
  • To figure out the amount of damage, take the whole amount of dmg, and divide it by 5. The number remaining is the players dmg per bullet.

-Aim (Aim)
  • Determines how far your bullets spread, and how far they go.
  • Every 2 points increases your chances for bullets to hit, and increases the distance the bullets go by 1 tile

  • Determines how fast you walk. Double-Tappin a keypad (running) is two times faster than your walk speed.

-Weight (Weight)
  • How much your carrying

-Weight Limit (Weight Limit)
  • How much weight you can carry total.

-Armor Class (AC)
  • Displays how much armor you have on.
  • In order to break someones AC you must be within atleast 12 WC of the players AC

-Weapon Class (WC)
  • Displays how much armor your bullets can peirce through.
  • You get 1 WC for every level you gain in Weapons.

-Energy Dmg (Energy Dmg)
  • Determines how much Dmg you do with energy attacks.
  • Each point adds 1 dmg.
  • To figure out the amount of damage, take the whole amount of dmg, and divide it by 5. The number remaining is the players dmg per bullet.

-Bullet Speed (Bullet Speed)
  • Displays how fast your bullets are.

The max amount of points you can get with any of these, is 30.

Armor.

Levels would only mean more Health, and more of anything else that is added from leveling up.

  • 6 = 3500 exp.
  • 7 = 5250 exp.

  • 11 = 36500 exp.
  • 12 = 59250 exp.
  • 13 = 95750 exp.
  • 14 = 150000 exp.

*We would need a "Trade Center" or some way to trade items/money.
**We would need a .GMAP, set up like GK's (with the 3D terrain)
***We would need to make "Baddies" that give away exp.

We'd have to make "Planets". These "Planets" would be like GK "Treasure Maps". To get to a "Planet" you would use a device to call the "Drop Ship". You'd be beamed to the ship, and then you would be given a "ride" to the planet. (It'd be kinda like the boat on GK, except your inside a Dropship.

Planet Types.
  • Level 1 Planets = "Baddies" (NPC's that look like characters) running around with different types of pistols. These types of "Planets" would have weak "Baddies". Each "Baddie" would give 50 exp.
  • Level 2 Planets = "Baddies" run around here with different pistols, and some using rifles. These "Baddies" would be harder than the Level 1's. Each "Baddie" would give 100 exp.
  • Level 3 Planets = "Baddies" running around with only Rifles. These "Baddies" would be harder than the Level 2's. Each "Baddie" would give 250 exp.
  • Level 4 Planets = "Baddies" running around with ALL weapons. These "Baddies" would be the hardest types of "Baddies" around. Each "Baddie" would give 1000 exp.
(Remember you'd be able to stay on the "Planet" until you died, or "Called the DropShip")

uhhh this is just an idea...as you can tell ive been thinking about it lol...uhhh i thought of it 2 days ago...not tryna spend more time writing this, cause most of you will probly not like it.or say "go to era" lol. i'm waiting for that one.

Anyways...It'd make Zone alot more interesting. And I think it'd be a nice idea.

No No No No No that Rpg Would kill trials very badly and posabley zon along with it and i don want Zone to die thats the only reason i payed Gold/vip for :cry:

It wouldn't really KILL anything. It would be set up in the -exact- form that Graal Kingdoms is in. The only difference between Zones Trials now and what Zones Trials would be, is that they would only be limited to non-saving if this idea happened. Rather than being restricted from 20 HP, No-Tags, Less Equipment, and non-saving.

it would kill Zone becuz most ppl that play zone are non RPGers like me :\

Thats why I wanted it to be a whole other server. Because some of Zones CHILDREN( :D ) wouldn't like the idea. Did you even read what I wrote? lol. It would be Zone, but with items, and stats. :oo:

lol...Ive had the idea on my mind since Tuesday night...so I had alot to write about ^^

I think one of the reasons I thought of it like this, is because once you get "so good" things get boring...And I dont really get bored of GK easily because theres always a challenge...I just hate sword fights lol...Also this adds more "Veriety" to the game...so it would make opponents more of a challenge. :D

lol...Ive had the idea on my mind since Tuesday night...so I had alot to write about ^^

If had worse ideas its not all together the worst idea ever. I don't know if I like all the calculations involved and how you would need stuff. Maybe that oculd be another playworld but i speak for a couple of friends who are p2p when I says this when I say that the only reason I play zone is because i like zone. I wouldn't much enjoy anything else. Maybe they could offer a new world, but this would also be a Great way to save the gk and zone
I think we all want to deny that all the worlds playercounts have dropped. I just hope they can do soemthing without morphing gk and zone. Sayain I appreciate all the thought and time you put into this but I wouldn't like zone like that. Okh and sayain why woudl you write for 2 hours?!?! I couldn't do that my threads are usually a paragraph long rofl.

Stefan most likely, won't allow it. I'll Forum PM him later asking about it. But I still figured I'd post my idea ;)

Experience

How would you get exp? The same way you get it from "normal" Zone. People get bountys, which when they die whoever killed them, gets the money/exp. But! there would also be "Baddies" to kill and get money/exp from.

Baddies

Are NPC's, Like the "Spar Bot".

Baddie Info.

Level 1-2 Baddies have;
  • 5 WC, 5 AC, do 5 dmg, have 25 hp.
  • Give 25 exp, and $25.

Level 3-4 Baddies have;
  • 3 WC, 3 AC, do 6 dmg, have 75 hp.
  • Give 50 exp, and $50.

Level 5 Baddies have;
  • 0 WC, 0 AC, do 6 dmg, have 100 hp.
  • Give 75 exp, and $75.

Level 6-10 Baddies have;
  • -12 WC, -10 AC, do 6 dmg, have 150 hp.
  • Give 150 exp, and $125.

Level 11-15 Baddies have;
  • -20 WC, -25 AC, do 7 dmg, have 175 hp.
  • Give 375 exp, and $175.

Level 16-20 Baddies have;
  • -35 WC, -35 AC, do 8 dmg, have 250 hp.
  • Give 500 exp, and $250.

Level 21-25 Baddies have;
  • -40 WC, -45 AC, do 9 dmg, have 275 hp.
  • Give 1300 exp, and $300.

Level 26-35 Baddies have;
  • -45 WC, -45 AC, do 10 dmg, have 300 hp.
  • Give 2225 exp, and $425.

Level 36-45 Baddies have;
  • -50 WC, -50 AC, do 11 dmg, have 350 hp.
  • Give 3500 exp, and $500.

Level 46-49 Baddies have;
  • -55 WC, -55 AC, do 12 dmg, have 400 hp.
  • Give 5000 exp, and $1000.

Level 50 Baddies have;
  • -65 WC, -70 AC, do 15 dmg, have 500 hp.
  • Give 10000 exp, and $5000.

Drop Ships
Drop Ships are only to be used for transporting from world to world. They also have Out-Of-World Weapons, and Armor. Drop Ships aren't something you come buy everyday.

Fighting
Would stay like the way it is on Zone. The only difference would be if someone has to high of a AC level, your bullets wouldn't do any damage.

AC
AC would work the same way it does on Graal Kingdoms. You can "Enchant Armor", but there are restrictions. (EA = Enchant Armor)
  • Level 1-4 = EA up to +1
  • Level 4-8 = EA up to +2
  • Level 8-12 = EA up to +3
  • Level 12-16 = EA up to +4
  • Level 16-20 = EA up to +5
  • Level 20-24 = EA up to +6
  • Level 24-28 = EA up to +7
  • Level 28-32 = EA up to +8
  • Level 32-35 = EA up to +9
  • Level 35-45 = EA up to +10
  • Level 45-49 = EA up to +11
  • Level 50 = EA up to +12

WC
WC would also work, sort of, like GK. The amount of WC you have, will result in if you do more damage (the lower the other players AC is, will increase the damage you do on them). Preping Your Gun/Weapon.
Will work like this;
  • Level 1-2 = can handel up to 1 improvement
  • Level 3-4 = can handel up to 2 improvements
  • Level 5-6 = can handel up to 3 improvements
  • Level 7-8 = can handel up to 4 improvements
  • Level 9-10 = can handel up to 5 improvements
  • Level 11-12 = can handel up to 6 improvements
  • Level 13-14 = can handel up to 7 improvements
  • Level 15-16 = can handel up to 8 improvements
  • Level 17-18 = can handel up to 9 improvements
  • Level 19-20 = can handel up to 10 improvements
  • Level 21-22 = can handel up to 11 improvements
  • Level 23-24 = can handel up to 12 improvements
  • Level 25-26 = can handel up to 13 improvements
  • Level 27-28 = can handel up to 14 improvements
  • Level 29-30 = can handel up to 15 improvements
  • Level 31-32 = can handel up to 16 improvements
  • Level 33-34 = can handel up to 17 improvements
  • Level 35-36 = can handel up to 18 improvements
  • Level 37-38 = can handel up to 19 improvements
  • Level 39-40 = can handel up to 20 improvements
  • Level 41-42 = can handel up to 21 improvements
  • Level 43-44 = can handel up to 22 improvements
  • Level 45-46 = can handel up to 23 improvements
  • Level 47-49 = can handel up to 24 improvements
  • Level 50 = can handel up to 25 improvements

Improvements
Help better your weapon. You can add these types of "Improvements" to your weapon;
  • Fire - Adds a Burning Effect to your weapon. (Adds more damage if someone has - resistance to fire)
  • Lighting - Adds a Shocking Effect to your weapon. (Adds more damage if someone has - resistance to Lighting)
  • Ice - Adds a Freezing Effect to your weapon. (Adds more damage if someone has - resistance to Ice)
  • Goo - Adds a Poison/Slow down effect to you weapon. (Makes opponent move .6 slower for 10 seconds.)
  • Lava - Adds more 3 more dmg to your weapon, also makes opponent burn for 10 secs.
  • Explosion - Adds an explosion opon impact with opponent. This adds 5 dmg to your weapon.
  • Enhancement - Enhances your bullets. This adds 1 WC to your weapon, per scroll that you use.

Peacefull Mode
There will be none. It will be a PK Zone everywhere. The only non-Pk zones will be inside the Drop Ship (only some) and in some buildings.
