Car System is almost done, just lacking the driveby support (still being worked on), making the script another 150 lines shorter then it already is (=o?) and parking I guess (easy enough.. eeh?).

Currently the script supports:
- As many players as I want each car to allow in, It depends on type of cars.
- Local Radio Stations (on GX)
- Diff speeds (depends on car)
- Diff cars entirely.
- Diff amount of people per car.
- Chatroom System aswell as kicking system from car.

Future Improvements:
- Drivebys (only out of your window will it allow you to shoot).
- Switching Car Seats via w/ others.
- /play <URL> to allow streaming or whatever you choose for your car music.
- Right-click (Mute) to not get messages from a player in chat (say he is spamming or something)
- KuJi's Personal Escalade.. seriously =D.
- Crono's sexy police car (not lying =/)

And any other improvements you would like to see - Picture Attached of current.

Also if you would like to test the cars for bugs.. I'd appreciate it much. Just logon to Graal X and type :car to go in/out of a car. Though I already know it doesnt reset if your in a car with others and say :car they will just follow you like you are still in one. It's only because I never scripted leaving yet =o

Yeah.. anyway, I'd appreciate if anyone wants to make some models of cars/trucks. It allows roofs or not.. whatever you prefer.

I attached two current cars you can use as a model or whatever, try to keep it small I guess?

Anyway, I got a question I want info on =o.

I was thinking of making a Loan system in which you can get a low-loan from the bank but must pay it back + interest in say... 30 days? If you don't pay it back the bank can take away your items or whatever in which it would be perma-removed from the economy or something.

Hows it sound?

ofcourse ill never have to worry about it so sounds great..

i mean if a player needs money they should be able to get money..

but if a player does not pay back that money they should suffer misserably

Yeah, I also think that well... I don't want to get screwed over myself =o. Say people hide items, I can make it so every time they make money they lose it automatically to pay off. So basically... that account would be in debt and if that player ever wanted to play he would need to like.. pay it off? =o

*Edit* Maybe I can make it so you need like 50-100 hours to take a loan tho?

hmm this can be cool if we do it right...
i say keep it simple...
take a loan, pay it off just like that... if not then stuff starts gettn taken away from you, maybe not for EVER but long enough till you can pay it back... say maybe it starts with the most expensive items or something and takes one away every 2 hours or so..

and when you pay back the loan everything comes back

Make it so the player can't spend money until he has enough money to pay the loan for the day, it averages the loan by 30 (Hence the 30 days), then if the player wants to buy something he has to have his loan money, but he still needs more to buy an item.

Say a gun costs 200 bucks, and the daily loan is 8000 dollars.
If the player wants to buy a gun he has to have 8200 dollars. Seems pretty good for a collateral.

but the problem is is that they dont have money in the first place..
so why would hey get a loan and then only be able to buy one item with it, then have to work the money right back off before they could buy anything else...

it would be like working for the money in the first place

Update on Car:

Currently the script supports:

- Addition to Above: You need the key to get in the car, without holding the key (tradable item) you will not be able to get in the car. (So basically.. to sell a car you just needa give key.) There will be key-duplicating soon, but for car-sales I will need to make the car locks changed I guess.

Future Improvements:

loans won't work.
you would have to go far past the boundaries in order to make it work, and it
just slaughters the idea.
for example, people trading the loan money to other accounts, you would
probably have to make a separate money thing only make it "loan money"
and that you can't trade it, it sounds stupid.

then there is also a player can buy a bunch of items with the loan money
and tried the item itself to another account.

Yeah, thats why I am trying to find a work-around.. I think it'd be cool.

I could make loans like.. you need proof that your purchasing something like a house or something soon I plan to add such.

Maybe you can only get loans for cars, biz's, houses etc... and you can't trade the item until its paid off OR the loan goes w/ it?

You wouldn't necessarily have to make separate loan money. If someone IRL takes out a loan, then transfers that 5,000 dollars to a friend or another bank account, they still have to pay back whoever they took the loan from at some point. Just have the loan system start taking items (repo man!) or automatically taking any money the player earns if they haven't payed the loan back at a certain point.

The problem is people will get there friends on who dont play the server to take out loans and give them the money. That's why we are having this discussion.

Though if we are too ever get classic, I could make this like a VIP / Gold special instead of for all classics =o?

You could have the Bank-NPC, or possibly even a player who works as a banker (although this can lead to serious corruption) prescreen loan candidates, sort of like they do in real banks. If a player is brand new, a trial, or has very little activity on the server they cannot take out a loan, or can only take out a very small loan to start. Maybe that would work?

I must have missed your post.. thats a good idea. I can do it personally, or get one of my staff to do it and have it log everything. Good idea.
