That is something only players can really fix. Please read what I said in my first post about the suggestion of roleplaying or stuff related to that. Admins do not make kingdoms active. People do.

MasterNuke will become famous soon enough
Start from the roots. If the system needs a revamp, start on the job(magic and gods included here)... then fix bugs and work out the monsters... then fix the bugs and revamp PvP interaction. Then fix bugs with that. From there, you can start working on Kingdom vs Kingdom interaction. These steps don't include anything involving RPing as it is more developed by the playerbase and not the staff.

Just my opinion on how to run things.

The best order I could suggest is:

1. Jobs
2. Levels
3. Monsters
4. Nation Mechanics
5. Item Distribution
6. Gods
7. Magic
8. Menu Attributes
9. Major Bugs
10. Event Hostings

This way, things could be fixed in an order that could immediately level things out and enable wars and normal fighting again in a way such that people would not have to be terrified to fight others.

One thing that ties in with item distribution as well might be prepping, which is a good idea to some extent, but has been used in ways that make fighting absurd. The weapondamage on a weapon should be enough, but since the AC on items can get to be rediculous, making the weapon's normal damage obsolete. With enough prepping, a wooden plank could become one of the most powerful weapons out there. Isn't that right, Ed?

I have to agree. I voted Magic though cause it annoys the living hell out of me when i buy a expensive spell with no GFX or doesn't work..

For monster battling and Player vs Player and Kingdoms vs Kingdoms we want to introduce the round-based battling. I think this could fix a lot of problems, since it makes fights more balanced, requires people to use different attacks, makes team play more interesting (instead of the current party system which is often only used for cheating), players couldn't simply run away (you need to be lucky or strong to be able to escape) which will be good for kingdoms fights and monsters will have a fair chance. It will also give 50+ of the spells a real sense, like levitation, confusion, storm.

Voted for Gods because I don't like the idea of Ogma's Bracers being disabled and the Aengus bow not working, and the fact that vitriol and sanctuary don't work that well anymore, or most of the god-given prayers. If those were fixed, then maybe I would've voted for something else.

Ew. What are you thinking? New innovations aren't going to redeem Kingdoms' standing.

And how will you put round-based fights into Graal? I mean it really wouldn't fit..

You've been talking about that idea forever, Stefan. I haven't really seen any steps toward it, nor do I even think those steps are necessary for a great multitude of reasons.

Personally i think the turn-based fighting system would be really cool and extremely original. Not too many MMOs doing that. It would be straying away from the original ZO concept about as much as graal has ever done, but it might just be what gives graal an edge in the market.

Fairyland has this system, and it was quite interresting.

You did a while ago and it was never fixed. Please fix these bugs. Kingdom relations were really getting interested until major problems arose with ships. Well, at least between CP and Samurai it was... ship fights were frequent and very fun! Now...it's very annoying. It's worse than before. Now when you get stuck you have to jump overboard or reconnect, and by the time you grab the wheel again you have been badly damaged.

Round-based fighting? Like that game with the skinny dude and spiky hair who has a really thick sword that looks like GK's broad sword? Not on GK...PLEASE! GK is best left as a real time RPG.
