We wouldn't need to reset, cause the races would have stat advantages, and since everyone are so hungry for being the "leetest" and best, they would clearly choose a race instead. Here they can't complain cause it weren't mandatory for them to reset.
Maybe you should learn more about the game before you go around criticizing it?
