One would think that all who did so would be punished, but then one would think wrong.

It happened to my server with no punishment, so yeah.

Your server? Which would that be?

When it happened to me...It was taken care of rather swiftly. Although I went right to the top, instead of dillying with Houdiniman.

Did you pursue it?

What happens if a staff member adds abusive scripts and exploits them after he/she was fired or quit?
Does that person get locally banned or global ban?

PrinceDark will become famous soon enough
elaborate? the questions wasn't straightforward enough?

ok...

Johhny:
creates personal npc that allows him to reset people/change kills/change deaths/wipe other attributes

2 1/2 weeks later he quits
next day he has fun with his stuff because he can serving everyone on the server that he don't like

sort of like the UN incidents a while back

Does this person get local ban after screwing over half the server or global ban?

edit2:
grrr. dude where the hell did I say it was a hacker?

Ah, you must be referring to a hacker ordeal they told me about over aim. So, is it a hacker or a staff member? I heard from a few people it was a hacker. Guess they were wrong, according to you?

His post sure does make it look like it. Heck, he even ruled out the whole "hacker" assumption.

Ok, so let's setup another scenerio.
Say a staff member removes content, then quits a short time later.
The staff member is not locally banned, nor globally banned for his/her actions because globals dont think it is a punishable action.
A few days/weeks later, said staff member abuses an npc to jail/edit attributes/reset accounts/etc...
Globals get on the PW, trying to figure out what is going on and local bans the suspect after nailing down the only npc that could have been used to do said actions, and finds out that said npc was locked and only 2 people could use it, and only one being on at the time of said abusive actions...

Global ban?

See, this is what I mean about rules not being clear, and what I mean about people being able to skirt the rules which some people are clearly doing...pushing the limits because they can....(I'm not saying this happened anywhere, I am trying to get a clear answer on how far a person can get away with stuff till they are globally banned)

(DO NOT MAKE ANY PERSONAL ATTACKS, KEEP REPLIES GENERALIZED WITH NO NAMES/PLAYERWORLD NAMES USED!!!!)

Another case:

Superman comes and kidnaps me in my room while I'm playing Graal. He did this to remove my addiction of Graal, and by cause, was doing a GOOD thing. But he kidnapped me, and I suffered several mental illnesses due to my lack of Graal. Should Superman be jailed, or exiled from the world? Superman DID kidnap me, and although he did something for the good nature of the world, he temperarly cased my problems.

Oh noz! Leak in the system!

As Spark said, it needs to be examined each case, and judged differently towards different servers. Each server has different regumentations, different people, different circumstances. It isn't possible to apply everything to everyone.

A PERSON MAKES ABUSEABLE NPCS ON A LEVEL
SAID PERSON QUITS STAFF
SAID PERSON ABUSES NPCS
HELL BREAKS LOOSE

PD did not rule out anything, he was simply asking a simple question

Well! This friend dosent get paid to work for graal, yeah?
Oops, looks like there isnt enough proof to convict them of deleting a server!
Bummer!

On graal its all about who you know
