You should have used the word 'have' in your post, instead of 'of'. Would a moderator be justified in editing your post accordingly? Clearly we need some overlying structure of rules, to restrain both the moderators and the users. If those in power are allowed to alter anything that they feel should be different, everything becomes a matter of personal bias. The only way to eliminate corruption is to codify the moderation process and thus ensure that the administrators act in a consistent and impartial fashion.
If it is illegal for us to discuss the rules then so be it. I can understand why certain...
types of moderator would want to silence such talk. However, it should at least be included in the rules so that the users can
know when they're asking the wrong kinds of questions.
