Yes, the map is the same. We're going for a PK approach to begin with, and see how that hits off.

If it is too small, we can always enchance the GMap size without problems

Levels have been modified, quite alot actually. Although, they were here to begin with.
Graphics, not really touched the tileset, so that's practically the only thing thats taken from PC Era without modifications.

I've really enjoyed doing this. For future Era iPhone staff it's alot easier to add things and implement things. There's practically no lag clientside and serverside. If Era main wants to use the same kind of systems it would be fun I must say hehe

If you go to a hospital when you die its gonna be impossible to get anywhere without dieing. And imagine 200 people at a place like speedy pizza :P jobs might not work.

For healing how about a purchasable (Not with Itunes) first aid kit? You could only carry one and it takes time to use, Maybe 10 seconds to use?

Good, though I still don't think that will be enough. And there should be some kind of new player protection, because with a medium sized Gmap there will probaly be someone in every level, making it super hard for a new player to get places. And everyone will be working; if theres 10 jobs times 2 of each and 700 players working that would be 35 at each place.

well this strategy work if im the first to get Era? buy a cheap knife real quick mass pk the rush of iphone players, then when it gets difficult buy a better weapon and pk more then work get one of the best weapons. You start with 50hp- we're not too sure on how to gain HP just yet (truth be told, I wouldn't mind a mixture of quests and pking, but I'm not too sure on what would be best, your suggestions? )

We're right now focusing on the pking factor - it brings alot of fun right now, but we want to add more hehe

The current way on Era is good(with the kills for health), This gives people a reason to pk. Maybe buying armor could also temporarily increase your health. I like the pking idea a lot Well maybe have a vote for that when it comes out. If you decide to make it based on kills a while after its out I hope the kills you already have will count.

Can you give a little more information on how the gang/guild system will work? Will there be loads and loads of gang houses, or will there just be a few like on Classic iPhone? And will they be managed similar to guilds on Classic iPhone, or is there a different system?

I imagine something like this.

Gang houses will be constantly Fought for, the strongest will survive and take control of it, If someone doesn't like it they raid their ass and steal it. If theres a parking lot in said house all cars get moved to the pound. Gangs and guilds themselves will probably be the same.

Create some sort of system that helps control random players logging on and making gangs that have the same name as major Classic iPhone guilds- Maybe you could make some sort of system where you have to be the owner of the guild on classic iphone to make a gang of the same name. Otherwise, some random noob will steal the names and make most of the server mad

HEY! I had not thought of that! Hmm time to find the most popular and well known guilds on class iphone, then copy and create them using multiple accounts created by using UDID faker! Thanks for the idea!

Needing it the first week because I'm sure lots of people are getting new iPods for Christmas.(including me, I'm getting a new 4g so I don't lag on Era ) well, I hope my iPod doesn't lag on era, please add an option to disable certain effects that may lag. Classic iPhone lags if there's more than 10 people on my screen. And I often crash in the main city(and walk at 30% speed) I hope the guns are extremely efficient now because 100 bullets on a screen is a lot for my iPod to handle. Btw does era iPhone have gamecenter? I don't see how your gonna protect guild names without putting days into it or making new players angry. If you make it so you need the guild on classic iPhone people without classic will whine.

Also, do something about door laming. I know it's going to happen. People will spam knifes and shoot a lot at hospitals, enterences togang bases, etc. Make it so you can't get hit for like 0.5-1 second after entering a level, unless you attack. (to prevent entering shooting leaving entering shooting etc) this feature could also be used on PC era too, although I know it will be much more severe on iPhone because of the high playercount. A 2 hour noob protection would be nice, if there isn't I would imagine seeing review like this:
"Sounds fun but..."
" I can't get anywhere without being killed. I want to work a job but everytime I try to get to it but I get killed after exciting the hospitals" I tried a players suggestion to unstick me, although I still keep getting killed on the crowded map. Please fix this developer, this looks like a fun game."

I've seen reviews like this on many apps with pking and advantages over other players(weapons level etc) I hope this won't be a problem

This was how I did it on "my" version of Era iPhone before Stefan shot it down, but it would be difficult for them to implement now, I think.

What time Monday is it coming out? Midnight? Morning? Afternoon? Evening? Night? I hope it doesn't come out in the afternoon central time I won't be able to play I wanna be the first player on the server! (not counting devs lol)

As much as I like to pretend I hate anything Graal-related, I'm really looking forward to playing this. I -really- hope it runs well enough so it's enjoyable on a 2G iPod. God knows that Classic iPhone is unbearable and I usually enjoy explowing by myself more than anything else.

there isn't thousands of people that play graal. that is the major flaw in your argument, and there therefore is maybe 20 people who are getting new ipods/iphones for christmas..who the hell would get a new ipod touch anyways
