You also can't go above level 10 in any skill, your ac and wc are capped, you can't visit kingdom islands, access some events, are open to persecution and made easily identifiable through your white name. Vise versa, those are what you avoid
But are then doomed to then care about the future of the server because you've practically invested in it.
Note: Buying Gold doesn't shield you from persecution
