Right. Okay.

What does that have to do anything? Regardless of whether the purchase came with other things doesn't mean that you just ignore it.

So the shave-ice vendor in Disneyland can show up drunk, now? After all, they didn't pay just to see the shave-ice vendor. The ride attendants can air their opinions on minorities (or for that matter safely stop smiling in public under any circumstances)?

Not the best point ever...just because the Forums aren't Graal's Primary selling point doesn't remove them from the equation. It's like doing a crap job on the cupholders because nobody buys the car for the cupholders.

The way I'm seeing things Now, you told Unixmad "Hey guy, they want the memberlist enabled." and he said "Why?" and logged off. And based on that, the matter is no longer up for discussion. Which makes it rather difficult for me to figure out whose initials are in my feedback ratingses, as I now have to scour the forum until I find a user whose name roughly matches...when the vast majority (or vocal minority, if you want to count idling users against the average) want to see Moonie take responsibility for (and control of) the forum decisions. Again - we don't have a forum admin, we have a forum automaton.

If our suggestions, those of the entire active userbase on these forums, want change, and you don't, it shows you think nothing of us, and you don't respect us. It's plain and obvious.

It's the actions I've seen expressed on these forums that made me decide not to upgrade. It's how you treat us that drove my business away, and I'm not the only one.

Why do people make assumptions? Members had voiced the wanted the option. I sent the links to Unixmad, and he said flat out "no".
End of discussion? Yes, because they are his forums.
You know, some of you expect me to fight the owner for some things that you want, whether I believe in them or not, which is unfair.
You can consider me not an administrator, because I'm not really. Never really thought of it before, but the only administrator is the one who has complete control over the forums, which I do not. Not even close.

I can't help it that I respect the owners wishes when it comes to this game and these boards. Respect for other people and their property is a big part of who I am.

For the ends that this thread was created, this is a dumb idea.

A forum manager would be appointed by the staff, and likely, the little sect that has broken away from the forums would be unlikely to gain this position, and people would still find themselves in the "unfair" (quotes for emphasis on "I Don't really mean that") bans they receive.

However, I would like to see Ibonic put his foot down a little more often.

I have only seen a few members complaining. Ever thought that maybe more don't sign up is because of some of these active members actions? Think about that.

Someone needs to be fixing technical issues currently only stefan can fix. Someone needs to be here to talk to the the players, read their suggestions, take charge of the staff (the global staff as well), and do things on unixmad currently is able to do. That someone, should be like I said 5 times now, employed and stationed at their office, or at least in the same city.

Ever think they don't sign up because of people telling them it's not worth it? Or because of the actions of the moderators? hmmmmm

I see a lot more people playing the client, then posting on here. Or even showing up once or twice. I'd bet a shiny silver dollar that the actions are generally the same in the client (probably worse) than on the forums.

Do you really think such a person would be able to make Graal anywhere near enough money to even pay for their own salary?

Probably not, but I'm being optimistic here, something has to change. They don't have the time to be doing this, that's is why they don't care, ignore peoples problems.

There are two sides to every coin. It cannot be said that no one signs up or posts on the forums because of the way it is moderated.

I am positive of that. Why do you think I hardly play the game anymore, or Manage a server?

So cleaning up the forums, which is supposed to be an added feature to the game is a fruitful endeavor, while worrying about the game itself is not?

Yes you have to pay for the game to play, this includes the forum. The forum is not the object of your contract you have to pay for

Why can't someone be paying for the forum as the object and the game just happens to come along?

No, I made no assumptions, I said "Have you ever thought that maybe......?" No assumptions there.

Same thing I said, only assumed it was a different cause. btw read your forum pm please, you have moderators acting out of line. Way out of line.

konidias will become famous soon enough
Send a message via AIM to konidias
I liked these forums much better when Unixmad let me admin them however I chose.

It's too bad that my fighting with Unix got me global banned which meant no more konidias as forum admin.
