Shall we start thinking about replacing the old smileys by new ones? I don't know about you guys, but they could look way better

I agree, we could do with some nice, new smileys. It would also be nice if the default ctrl+letter emotes were changed to match as well.

Only thing I don't like about Dusty's are the eyes, they aren't very readable.

I think they're way too huge... I don't like smilies offsetting the vertical positioning of my text. But any attempt to make a smaller version(which I swear I've tried before) leads to no actual room to give emotion:

The actual detailing and shaping of the head takes up so much room that there is no space left for the face(hence why smilies usually consist of just a circle with an emotion in it). And I don't think it's worth the smilies offsetting text for the sake of having a noob head as a smily. Oh, and how can you have a noob head when every head is a noob head?

I don't think I like any of the smilies posted in the thread yet. The current smilies we have use a weird gradient, they're too dark, and some of them look pretty bad such as the generic smile which almost seems sarcastic. Dusty's basic set have weird faces and almost look too human to me. The smilies from Delteria's forums are too big and don't look very professional. I still would like to see a completely different set of smilies though.
