My sugestion for the winder backpal is not to recolor stuff, because that just looks like perma frost. Try to make it so snow has fallen on the objects. I sugest you take the existing winter objects and paste them over the 'summery' ones, and then edit that for the sake of creativity.
I did do that in my tileset for fear but these few were just experimenting with colors and recoloring. With backpals gone I have lost a few ideas but its not a bad thing because there are always other ways
As far as moving things around I got a good feel for that too see my pics1 the new order format for that its linked in my sig as well as a thread of its own with an object set of images that is also in my sig.
