I know this isn't my job but I'd like to re-inform you all that Bomy Moon IS Hiring and we very much need More Staff to keep up progress and hopefully re-open BM. If you think you are Fairly Decent at Level Design, Scripting, or Graphic's Design, Why not give it a shot and Submit your work to Tseng or James? It wouldn't hurt and you have a good chance of getting hired!

Also if you really don't want to get a job on BM but you would still like to Contribute, Why not try being one of Our Free-lance Developers? Hell I have TONS of Levels/Gfx/Scripts that need to be made and few People to make them. (*Wishes he was better at all these fields* X-x)

Anyway I really hope to see some of you guys Try out, The only way we are gonna bring back the Fun in Bomy Moon is if the ones that Care the most about it Pitch in anyway they can!

Ps. If you have any Suggestions/ideas Feel free to post them here, just don't Ramble on about them =O.

I think all they need now is dedicated staff,and had working staff. I think everyone should have the same ammount of RC rights so no conflicts occur,and I think a temporary GM shoudl look over until the server is back up. Until then dont expect much.

NATs need NC, generally, GATs do not, if you give everyone the same rights, everyone has the exact same job. (Except perhaps some field of management they're in).

The way we decide RC rights is based on a person's skill, and how often they use a certain aspect of their rights. For instance, if I had graphics access but was HORRIBLE at graphics, and for some strange reason I got the right, it would be removed because I don't use. it. ^_^

I know what your saying...like having someone who doesnt knwo scripting with NC or something. I'm saying like the should be a temporary GM person who isnt working,or may help out some to be the manager. he will have the highest rights,and will give them to others when needed. Tseng and James do a pretty fair job of that so I cant really complain.

Tseng used to do that, when Jeff and Kamuii were managers, he helped handle rights etc.

Tseng did most of the work while they were managers.i think kamuii has some good managemnt qualities.

Wyroko...let James and I handle how we deal with the adding of new staff...had I wanted to publicly hire, I would have posted saying such.

Hiring is dealt with on a private case-by-case basis; right now the goal is not to hire new staff, but to get the old back on track, and get the server back on track, to an eventual point at which new staff can assist, but not before.

The timeline basically goes: Fixing what we have/finishing what we started -> Adding New Things/People

Old geezer here with a few comments.

First off, Tseng didn't do almost all the work in my administration or Kamuii's. That is a myth. Sure, I did a lot of my work via AIM, but I was the manager, not a NAT or FAQ dude. And, to anticipate the reply, I did in fact go on RC quite a bit, but I wasn't going to go on RC to sit there alone; it'd sap processing power.

And Tseng, last I checked, my hiring thread is still in effect. You (or James) never closed hiring. So a policy of private hiring does not look to be in effect unless you close the hiring status that I left. I'd suggest you unsticky my hiring and current-staff threads.

I wouldn't mind doing some levels... However, I'd need at least a week prying away at the level editor to get back to where I was, seeing as I haven't made a level in about 3 months.

Is there any sort of hiring guidelines that you use? I've looked through about 3 pages in the forum, and I haven't found a thread about hiring.
I'd just like something to work off of rather than making random things, that might not even be considered.

If I recall he was fired for the restaraunt for not doing what he was told to do, and instead did what he wanted to do. I think the restaraunt was all well and good itself.

Well I didnt know what the heck happened. I herd he quit so i asked him on AIM and he said he was to caught up with other things so he quit.

Jeff recently resigned.

Kae is referring to an earlier time, when Jeff was fired; I believe there was some conspiracy among two people to get him fired.

He was rehired as a developer at the same time I was originally hired as a developer, and he worked his way up from there. When Rabid quit, he named Jeff as the Co-Manager in his stead.

Since when do managers have to know how to script/make levels/etc? Managers need to manage. That's like saying level makers have to know how to script and make graphics. They're there to make levels; not NPCs or graphics.
