You get a higher grace by raising your wisdom lvl. To do that use a prayer to kill monsters. A good one is cause wounds. You will find prayerbooks like this in the northern shop in Tanartia.

If someone can script it, just use the mourning star script but get rid of the spin o_o

Balor gets Flaming aura, vitriol, + 30 magic resistance and at the moment i believe it gives luck +1 (although its meant to give -1 maybe someone could check that)

I think some of the other gods need to be made more intresting such as Aengus and dian first.

If you ask me Balor is too strong, with a good spell from the begining And magic resist? I agree with Craigus, Aengus and dian should be "Uped" a lil more somehow

Except the problems with the Graalian dieties is that thier stuff hasn't worked for years.

*further revives* At least make the flaming aura work, the god is useless otherwise. If that was fixed then the pkers would be more spread out, ogma, bile, gov and Balor. It would bring back the old fighting styles, where tricks were half the battle, such as scrolls and resistances.

Make Balor not useless. I wasted 40 wisdom level for Vitriol Splash only to find it was long disabled. ;[

Vitriol should be re-enabled. It was fixed on Debug to be a powerful cone-shaped AoE instead of what it used to be.. a purely destructive spell that wrecked items. As long as it's safe, why not re-enable it?

Any plans to help balor followers in any way? I took time to read about flaming aura in older topics on the forum and how so many people complained about how "overpowered" it was, failing to mention the possibility that they MAY have had RoW or other combat based rings on when they were getting roasted, now it only lasts 15 seconds, and it is definitely far less effective in strength than when i last used it on lords before the magic system overhaul.

With two rings of fire equipped (shouldn't those boost how strong a spell or prayer is?) i still could not kill a Trex in one cast of FA, with the many penalties balor has, no relics, no angel class monsters and no effects for fear status, it's not a very attractive god to even follow.

Vitriol used to knock your armor enchantments down into the negatives. Pretty awesome stuff.

Yeah, that was a really weird and unfortunate bug. But still incredible. That spell definitely needs to make a comeback, even in its current form on Debug.

It is now 2015, and balor is the most unused god in all of GK, can flaming aura be changed somehow? Longer duration than about 10-15 seconds or some type of greater damaged to ice based monsters?

I just attempted to kill the heavils and ice heavils in the crystal dungeon to no avail, they just heal far too rapidly for flaming aura, the prayers damage has been driven into the ground thanks to abundant complaints by the idiot powerplayers of the past and is completely not worth following the god right now.
