It doesn't present itself as a memory issue. It'd probably help if he cleared up the ambiguity in "[I have Filename Caching] checked off".

And yes, "checked it off" was bad wording. It's checked on. It doesn't matter though, since(after 3 attempts) I reinstalled graal to a new folder. It seems to be opening just fine now, but the other one still takes a while. Thanks for the help everyone, despite it just having such a simple solution (that I should have done a while ago).

I have this same problem too, I believe it's related to the Microsoft Security Essentials.

I checked my processes while it was taking forever to load, Security Essentials Anti-Malware was hogging all the CPU. Closed it, and then it opened right away.
