New medals, need help

There are probably already some threads about this, but would be good to get them together and get started with it: we should add new medals / achievements, those are easy to add and always a good motivation to play. We can probably add some more medals for getting a specific amount of kills with certain weapons. Do you have more ideas of really good achievements which could be added, which require skill but are not pathetic (i mean not stuff like kill the same guiy 5 times in a row). More stuff like kill someone with a hover bike while you are not sitting on it anymore (if it's not too complex we can also add some small script additions to make them possible). Or things that really show that you are good, beside event weapons.

Would 100 kills with some non lame weapons help...like kv24 or shotgun something that takes skill to use not just shooting everywhere like those air rippers and apps...I only use apps if someone is using apps on me....usually im just using gold mags...

You should make the medals do something like make you invisible (like the card effect) because a picture of a virtual medal doesn't give me a sense of accomplishment when I get a medal

One of the medals could be to get a certain number of kills without dying, so like 20 and 0 on Iricia or something (it's supposed to be that hard).

yeah like some medals that feel out of reach when your rookie or even expert would be nice and maybe a gold - silver - bronze style medal

20 kills without dying on irica - bronze iricia kill medal
50 kills without dying on irica - silver iricia kill medal
100 - gold

also, if you manage to get every medal, you could reveive a new weapon, not overpowered but very flashy looking, maybe the scifi rifle

a medal for gaining a kill ammount with a certain weapon, medal for reaching a certain rank, ect ect, loads of them, for little things and big, and make a whole window to show through the medals you have acheived, and how to get the ones you havent, also have the oppertunity to compare medals

You need to give a type of reward, since I see no point in collecting medals, I just don't bother.

How about:
Achieve 2200 spar rating;
Win 50 Deathmatch rounds;
Get 20 speeder kills;
Win 5 Iricia matches in a row and etc.

Good idea for bronze silver and gold.

Hm, maybe instead of receving a weapon we can make new heads or bodies and let any player use them (EVEN NON GOLD PLOX) if they get bronze/silver/gold.

I also think we need Chevrons that show during combat it tells people that you are experianced and know how to handle yourself these will make a army of noobs follow you into combat!

Cusser - Swearing over 100 times

Gelat Weapon User - Buying Gelat weapons over 100 times

Team Work - Staying atleast 30 feet close to someone for 5 minutes

PC User - 200 hours online with a PC

Mac User - 200 hours online with a Mac

Linux User - 200 hours online with a Linux computer

Spammer - Spamming more than 50 times

Evil Player- getting locked, Unstuck, Banned, 5 times

Good Player - not getting locked, Banned, unstuck, for 200 hours

Tazer- to taze down 50 Vehicles

oldbie Reaching 1500 hours

Stuck- to say unstick me 50 times

Zone Addict- Being online 6 hours or more every day for 1 week.

I don't like the oldbie one I haven't reached 1500 hours and I've played since at least 05.

I was thinking of more medals requiring skills, like:
- The one-handed pistol master: use a pistol only with one hand (no switching allowed) to kill people, kill 5 people with 5 different pistols to get the medal
- Protect your base: Protect an iricia base without ever leaving it. Kill at least 10 people.

Another idea:
- Homeland Security: Kill a lamer from the other team on your own home base with your bare hands ... or alternatively with a melee weapon.

well i don't know but i think those are a littttllleeee bit big for on the jackets, i was referring to them as replacing the original ones, since im not really fond of those, but i don't know what other people's opinions on that are.

@Polcherr: Attaching medals to a shirt on zone would be pointless, they'd remain to small to be seen.

@Miniman: I Like em now just put pictures e.g. slime medal on that medal then it would be a great design
