We have added the News window to keep track of what happens on Zone! It opens on login and when clicking on News in the upper right corner. Currently it logs event messages, race results, deathmatch winners, kills, purchases and medals. You can either watch the important or all messages, it will display the 25 most recent news. Ideas to extend this feature are welcome

Yes we can add a "Race Result" button once we have some race results in the list

Dunno, I never used it, I tought it was a administrative feature, and later on I found it was always empty. But if it is, what is requested, then it won't need another cause this is already unused.

Well it has IRC channels, so if there is a zone or zone related channel, then it is absolutely what you are asking for. A ingame global zone channel/ chat.

I'm no Zone player, but I can guarantee that would look a whole lot better if it wasn't using the crappy Toon style.

I can imagine some kind of message board or bulletin board would be fun to leave messages for other people, but it could be abused or spammed a lot ? We could add that for the squad teams though.

Ya I can find it being abused to flame people and such. Nice to see work being done.

If so, then it requires a mute button, just as for the current message board in this thread requestet. Then it could be a nice feature.

I keep getting this feeling that all these updates are for Gold servers. I hardly see Stefan mention anything such as "NP or UN has added 3 new NPC's" But god forbid a second goes by without anyone knowing what goes on with Gold servers..

I understand that Gold servers may have a better name in Stefan's book,
But to me, Graal doesn't revolve around Zone and Graal Kingdoms.

I get a feeling that there are a lack of proper updates for Graal servers including the Gold ones from Stefan and co.

Though if you logged all the killing news you could see who free kills, and also add a section in which you, Dan, Jesse and SN post frequent updates like every few days or weeks of what your working on and the progress as well as new releases.

Muting would be a nice feature to use against spammers. Even a mute for team chat would be useful.

Having the event schedule up there would be a solid idea. I've wanted something like that for a while. As Jesper said, the majority of Zone don't know how to use the forums.

since it's not acutely a "news" page who kill who when you log on the server IMO.

But I do see your point. It's like the "MISSION OBJECTIVE" map gfx that pops up everytime you go onto an Iricia warp.

Ya they've been adding alot of pointless stuff, like I understand the mission objectives, but it's only useful for first time players. It just irritates people who already know how to play and what the objective is, there should be a button to turn it off.
