Base 1 will obviously always been seen as the "important" base. It's the biggest, stands on raised ground that is harder to attack, and has a inside bunker, which you can teleport into when your team has said base. I remember all the laming/killing went on around base 1 about 70% of the time, and then the last was put into the occasional "hq raid".

Some ways we could make Base1 more important could be:
Make it bigger.
Make it have some kind of advantage (healing and ammo as sam said)
Place turrets on top of it.
Possibly give it the ability to warp you to any other base.
Give it a dropship warp
Let you go back to hq bunker from b1.
More exp/bounty raising to take the base than other ones.

Theres some more but I think you get the idea. Everyone uses icira because it is the most populated planet, and hq's get raided because it is the fastest way to get kills, as players are usually not at the best right when they get out onto field, especially when mortars and photons are shooting at you. Give some edge back to the actual game of iricia, or move to alpha, that should be the laming planet to tell the truth, its FFA.

Sounds like way too much added-on.

I disagree B1 is fine, you change B1 you change Iricia. People will not want to play it if they go to attack B1, and when the enemy is dieing they run inside, and heal, restock on ammo, and kill them all, or simply warp to their HQ and escape. (I see no tactical edge in this, mostly a way to make Iricia Lamer which you are trying to stop, I believe?)

I see these ideas doing more bad then good.

You can already replenish your ammo when you teleport to base one.

I'm sorry if you misunderstood, those suggestions were meant to be like only one of the following, or maybe 2, but not all, all of those things would be ridiculous. And I never said I wanted to make Iricia less lame, just put the focus back on b1, which that would do, seeing as it would turn it into a "mini hq" for most. And even with some of those options, I see no big change. Ammo is already restored with the teleporter, Hp is easily enough recharged, and a full heal is not that big of a event seeing as any good player can kill someone who heals 10+ times throughout a battle.

For the most part iricia is fine as it is, leave the big changes to Stefan and Daniel, as they are the only two who really can put any of these idea into effect. If they saw any flaw with the current gameplay on iricia, it would be changed.

Ehh kinda. I like the way iricia is right now. And my post was for the most part suggestions, not personal opinion, cept for the last bit. I tend to change my mind every so often =D
