Naming the heads and other graphics as mentioned above works fine, but when the bodies are named this way, the transparency seems to unset itself. There is no means of fixing this unless the naming format is changed. We've tried re-uploading the graphics, resetting the transparency with multiple programs, nothing. The only means of which will remedy the graphical issue is changing the name. This shouldn't be like this, as the name has very little to do with the graphical properties itself.

I was able to get it to work properly with new name format once when using an RGB mode PNG saved with Photoshop, but that was it, changing to index mode or using a GIF in any mode didn't work. This was also with a body using custom colors (as are common with bodies on Val) rather than the standard colors.
I am pretty stumped as to why the filename of the image would determine how its drawn, but I suppose the body colors thing has something to do with it. Also it seems that adding a number to the end of the filename (body100.gif or body101.gif) changes the way it is drawn, if that could be explain too it would be nice.
I would really love to force everyone to use PNG for all image files, as it is superior format.
And a request to Stefan: Can you PLEASE add support for RGB color setting for body parts? x.x (i.e.
color[0] = {255, 128, 64};)
