Can we get a sticky thread made for fun events so I don't keep posting in here accidentally.

The event is at 6:00 PM United states eastern time if you live in the US and would like me to tell you the time anyway and don't live in hawaii or alaska I can.

Hosting fun events everyday between the times of 7 am EST and 2pm EST.
If I get prizes I might throw some chainsaw events in every now and again.

Ok this Saturday as a little Half Month Special, I'm going to host a special spar tournament. Now I will be accepting applications for the spar tournament an hour before the event starts (start time is 1pm EST).
The prize isn't an event weapon but it's something that is very useful to all those people who actually play. It's kind of an incentive to get people on and make them stay on because they will have all this stuff.
The prizes will be:
1500 Money
Chiansaw
100 Pipebombs
150 Taze Bombs
150 Gas Grenades
250 Grenades
350 Frag Grenades

You must be on spar planet for when it's your turn to spar, if you're not there when it's your turn you will be disqualified.
Weapons: Appirces anything else will result in immediate disqualification
Rules: You must go back to back and no glitching your shot (strafing is fine)
Trials can't compete because I don't want really good players to just go on trials and win and be an ass about it.

Okeydokey, for those who do not know;
Event Items have been limited now to one month (every item given out by ETs). For the chainsaw and lavagun the time limit is 1 hour, though the lavagun isn't ready to be given out yet.

If you are ET and in need of "some items" to give out, contact me and we will discuss when and by what events they are given out.

Soon there will be a new Event System, there will be a big control panel with predefined Event Settings which you can modify or leave. In this panel you can start default Events or "create your own" (modify settings). During the Event there will be a control window for participing players, with the common options as; kick, lock, unlock and perhaps the megalock I've seen from another thread.

For any questions feel free to PM me, as I like to see this thread used for only Event Scheduling right now.

Ok, I would really appreciate it, if people stop using this thread as a Q & A for the new Event weapon system. Also, for refrence, this thread is for posting, Events for "Event Weapons", that means Chainsaw, Bps, Rps, and Reapers(also Lavagun, when they add it.).

Also this is directed towards New ETs, if you are hosting an Event for a Prize, you should keep the weapon that you use for the Event a secret until the Event, the reason being, people will know what to use now, and have time to practice, or plan on strategies, and its kinda tradition to not tell until the Event. xD

I think I'll host a redpistole event November 21st. The time will be around 6 o'clock central time (USA). Since UnknownMastermind suggested it I won't enclose the weapons to be used until we get closer to the 21st.

actually Desear is right...we really shouldn't mass what weapons the event will be for until right before the event. I do this on GK when I do a huge event and people flock just to see who won it and what it was.

Well, I for one don't like it because if I tell them the weapon, they will have time to practice with it, and prepare to learn some methods of killing people with the weapon, and using it on DM with the soroundings.(I.E. Develop a strategy of fighting near the Barrels.) Although, if you wait until the Event to tell the weapon, it will be pure skill.
