I remember at some point somebody announced on here that no matter your AC/resistances or whatever, there is still a chance a monster will damage you when hitting you.

Pretty much. AC and WC just have to do with whether or not monsters will be able to hit you.

Having higher AC doesn't make you immune to all attacks, because some attack rolls will still score high enough to break your AC. It just means it's less likely that you will be hit. However, when a monster or person is constantly attacking, it means multiple rolls are happening, and one of those might be enough to actually cause a hit to happen.

To put it in terms of math, imagine that there is a roll that occurs every time the player strikes that is 1-100. The player is trying to attack someone who has 75 AC. They have 25 WC by default.

Roll 1: 34
Roll 2: 51
Roll 3: 12
Roll 4: 41
Roll 5: 77

25 AC + 34 = 59 (Miss)
25 AC + 51 = 76 (Hit)
25 AC + 12 = 37 (Miss)
25 AC + 41 = 66 (Miss)
25 AC + 77 = 102 (Hit)

Most of the time, the player will miss. But if they roll high enough, some damage will go through. However, damage is handled separately and is often mitigated by resistances.

However one reaper, after 10~ hits, will hurt me.

However PlayerB with the exact same statistics as me, but a lower AC value (as shown by my previous attachments), can stand indefinitely with reapers around them, and then dies doing a X-mas run.

Though if that's not enough for you, I'll just go idle with my buddy Kvasir for 2 hours until he kicks me out of his house. Then die to his zombie bodyguards after about a minute or so.

Def not broken.

Exactly the thing, that I've heard pretty often. It's totally weird.
