I didn't say the player count dropped because of that, I said players don't log on servers because of that, example:

I go to my PC, log on Era and take a look at the player count:

"Damn, only 12 players, sucks!"

I log out again, because I know that I'll get disconnected anyways after 15 minutes, if I idle.

Now if I could just idle as much as I wanted, I'd stay logged in and idle. Eventually 3, 5, 10 even 20? other people would do the same. Seeing as the player count raises everyone starts playing...

Whether it was or wasn't meant to imply that the player count was down because of it, it's certainly doesn't change the rest of what I said. You logging on, seeing only 12 people, then logging off just means you're not going to play. Getting on, seeing 12 people, then leaving it idle does not improve the statistic in the slightest, nor raise it beyond what would then become an inaccurate statistic of an active player count at all.

As stated above, it's not like it can't be disabled/enabled in the first place, and 9 times out of 10, servers just prefer people did not idle around when every person on their server is partially their responsibility and just idling there in itself can become a concern.

Topic: If a bunch of people just sit there and idle. Players start to stack and stack and thus that means lag! Also it isnt fair really for people applying for things. People who hire usually check out hours. If someone has cable. They can gain hours all day 'erday. If someone has dial up. Well; you get the point

But really, you should be disconnected for not moving in a certain amount of time. If not, we would have ALOT of idlers in many servers.

We all know you doctored that photo. I wouldn't imagine an ET stupid enough to take off their tag infront of a player, and that could of been an accident. Your banned for life again. Third time in a row.

Whats worse is, you kept messaging me saying that you didn't care since you already got passed the two past "Life time" bans.

Also, Chris is kinda right. Just because the problem will or will not be solved, the thread will always stay open for the community to discuss it some more. You just can't get rid of something and pretend it never happend.

Admins/mods shouldn't be closing thread on the thread creator's request. Just because they think a discussion is over doesn't mean they should end it. They don't own the discussion, the community does. They even have a day to delete the entire thread from the moment they make the first post.

Just because they don't like the way the thread is going doesn't mean they should be able to have it closed.
