I was playing through the quest with a new player (I guess? Never seen him before) and we got up to a point where we both had a key and no door. After dying 20 times from things like green water (which you can swim in but it can't touch you when it's dripping?) and the door laming rats it all just got frustrating. He logged and I followed shortly after.

I like how the quest is presented and the small details. However, these small things are clouded by the bad use of backtracking and although it shouldn't be easy, it's just confusing and annoying. Another thing I didn't like was that random things changed without either of us actually noticing a change. In a lot of games (including Zelda) the focus is moved from the player onto these "unlocked" areas, and I think that's something you should really look into adding.

This is most likely where I got stuck, because I can't remember doing this. I would never have thought of that, and I don't see how anyone would seriously come up with that solution on their own.
