All baddies have their stats and looks randomized upon combat, so it's possible you've encountered ones with high strength (damage) and constitution (health). Just try again, and hope for a weak one!

UN hardly revolve the whole server around a fantasy theme though. We do.

I've been wondering about that one myself, and have come to the conclusion that spawning a non-blocking NPC at the spot the player was before the combat, with the same looks and a name like "MyName (In Combat)" that will either despawn if the player in question logs off, or leaves combat might be the best idea.
