Exchanging Cars

You should be able to exchange your car for a new kind or color at the car dealership. And say for example you already have a car worth 10k and you want to exchange it for a car worth 14k then you only pay 4k for the car and exchange it for the car you want. But I you want to exchange for a cheaper car then all you have to do is exchange it, you don't get anymoney back or anything or you don't have to pay either.

10k-10k=Pay 0
10k-12k=Pay 2k
10k-14k=Pay 4k
10k-16k=Pay 6k
16k-14k=Pay 0
Etc........

No one uses cars anymore, but yeah, I guess it would be a good idea if we were still working on cars.

Does the color of your car really matter that much, though? All the cars go the same speed if I'm not mistaken, it doesn't make sense to me why you'd need a different car other than 'style'.

they need to just revamp the whole car system, but it's not exactly a priority right now.

They really should change the look of cars they had the same look since I could last remember. Maybe over 5 years. When they were only 5k.

Staff should disable ALL cars, and have a block at unstick me that allows you to return them for money, and they should make all brand new cars

This is easier said than done, and there is not a lot of reason right not to improve the car system. Cars are never going to be the most useful things on Era because Era simply has a small world. To expand the GMAP like Angel planned to do, and require cars, for example, to cross bridges (like she also planned), would merely harm the more important PKing aspect of the server.

kinda off topic, but does that mean you dropped tht gmap then?

If you guys made car missions more efficient and how they used to be when they first came out, I would gladly go out and buy a car just for that.
(Right now, don't car missions have a 'one mission every x amount of seconds?)

yeah. car missions were the best way to make money and as soon as they nerfed it everybody stopped doing them and when on to the next job.

Alright I mean honestly, if not right now then on the Dev Car missions should be on the top of the list. Because car missions require the most money to actually start. Top of the ladder, if you will.

So why the hell aren't they the best job? Just my opinion, tho

because the average thought process of a typical staff member is pretty short.

Actually I agree with that, I don't think it should be at the top of the list, but I think there could be a great way to improve the missions. Just wondering, but what did you have in mind to improve car missions?

I really haven't done a car mission in forever since my car got deleted. But, in the beginning you could do mission after mission. One after another. Could be a little off on my numbers, but they used to range from like 10-50 bucks, depending on the distance of the drive.

Since then they have added a timer, to where you couldn't do the missions so fast. Also, I have been hearing about a LOT of bugs with the passengers, like they wont get out, or they tell you to go somewhere that doesn't exist anymore.

Things like that.

The server is not about cars..

Maybe with the block at unstick there could be something like bring in your old car! and Get a #k Discount of your new One!!!

Just like the cash for clunkers event.

yes it should.
you buy a shovel for 30 dollars and you can make more money digging shells than buying a car for 5k and doing car missions. cars are useless aside from using it as a job so I think it should be buffed again.

Car missions are fun, its like my main thing to do.
Some missions should give you more money than others, and have less time than others.
For example, the doctor mission, if its a life or death situation the time needs to be shorter, and the thief one too, after an x amount of time if you havent gotten the person their yet it could say the person died or the cops got you. Even though car missions are minor compared to other stuff, it can make a difference I believe.
