PPSH: The debate!

The PPSH no longer requires a "Bratski Krug" tag to use it. However, with this new feature, the price has sky-rocketed, making Era's economy even more flawed. You basically just gave $500,000 in each PPSH owners pocket.

What should be done:
-A staff block should be introduced for $50,000 at "unstick me"
-A quest should be added, which would allow players to buy the PPSH for $20,000, granted they make it to the end.

Why should this be done:
-Nobody would lose money, or gain money.
-The money it would cost to buy the PPSH from the quest, would drain money out of the economy.
-It would add something for Era players to do.

Why not just keep it tag locked, although people would be scaming it would die off...

I sold my PPSH for 50k then it became untaged witch was pretty *** z.Z

And why would there be a staff block paying 50k for things you -could- buy for 20k

Are you kidding? Buying a gun for $20k would definitely drain money out of the economy, until you sell it to an NPC for $50k.

As far as I can see, and call me Economically stupid if I'm wrong, but someone buys the $20k PPSH from quest, sells it for $50k at unstick me.... The player GAINS a free $30k, the server DRAINS...what?

It's a gun that was Ganglocked to Bratski Krug which is a gang that got deleted.

What about just remove the PPSH all together? Make an NPC for how much they where sold for in the gang as a refund. The economy won't gain money because it's just putting money back, and no one will lose money because the money is refunded [unless you are one of those people who bought it off another person for 12083712k]

ORR create the quest so the PPSH amount lowers for the economy?

the one thing I'm really sick of is dealing with deleted gangs and their gang gun.
I haven't decided what I wanted to do with it, and when I finally went to go untag lock it, somebody else got there before me, so we'll leave it at that.

I think he means put the block there for a couple days or a week to get them out of the economy. Then delete the block and release a quest that a player can by a PPSH its common sense...

The best thing, in my opinion, to do would be to sell your PPSH's to an NPC for 50k or something, then later remove them.

What kind of person is going to spend 500k on a gun, then sell it for 50k when they know that it's not going anywhere any time soon?

The economy is already ****ed on Era, no? I doubt you can save it with just the PPSHs.

You shouldn't do anything with them. The players should be able to do what they please with it. They were around for the gang to rise and fall. They deserve a reward for their time spent on Era.

either way the person is making 30k out of nowhere just for having a PPSH. he can sell it, then do the quest. duh
