Symphonia: Summer Hirings

Well in light of the resent "open day" on Symphonia where we seen quite a turnout and this came to a shock to me. Anyways, Symphonia is a RPG fantasy style server which has been kicking about for the last couple years and the server is almost at the point where we couple be playable (Horay!!). Anyways if you want to know anything else about Symphone you can forum PM me or go on the website.

What we are looking for
Well basicly its the Summer hirings and at this time we are basicly looking for any applicants; development wise of course. So that would mean we are looking for Scripters, Level Makers, and Graphic designers. I emphasise the Level makers because we are in desperate need of some level designers to help create the Overworld and Inside levels. So if anyone would like to apply for any of the positions as listed above could you either contact me in game or by forum PM, and I will tell you all the information about how to apply for a position.

Completed/WIP Things in game

Well we have completed numerous systems such as baddie system, shop system, and there is now custom emotions now im place for players. There are also a couple dungeons placed around Symphonia for players to level there character. Also, the other things which we are currently working on being released is a higher level dungeons for people have reached the level cap and we are also working on releasing the new Spell system and weather system to players.

Goodluck to who all apply for any of the positions, and I will try and get some more screenshots of the server up soon.

This thread is still valid you guys, Im still really needing Level designers and I am still working on getting some Screenshots and more information on the website...but I have been pretty busy with my school work and stuff. I'll try my best.

When are you going to remove that dark ass black? Those cliffs are WAY too contrasting.

Title says it all, Symphonia is in staff only for time being for some more updates with updates to the tiles and some more player functions so if you are still interested in a job or anything forum PM here or at Symphonia's Website.

Yar, we have started making new cliffs and I belive the contrasting is going to be no more.

As you can see its not completed as of yet.

Well its still a WIP and to my knowledge it was just a test to see what it would look like.

Anyways, back to staffing matters. We are, at this point of time, in desperately in need of ganiers, as we have none at all and the tasks are mounting up for this particular staff team.

yea sadly you cant use alpha transparency in gifs afaik
and dithered shadow will match the things we got now...theres some nice things going on on symphonia :P

Why not use a 24-bit png then? Or even separate the shadow and do the alpha transparency in the gani? Dithered shadows were really only used because of limitations and they look so bad.

Heh, putting a few sprites in a gani doesn't really take a gani expert :P

The Castle will be the Main Place of Symphonia where you do the most things like
get quests, buy or smith items, fight against other players in the arena ...
