Event Suggestion?

Even though it's not with the theme (Probably could be made to be), what about a game like 'Deal or No Deal' ?

Random person selected from a lottery every other week or month.

Then again, this might not work for long with such a low overall player count....

It won't work because of the low playercount like you said. The whole community would win at least once in a matter of weeks.

Maybe you can explain your "Deal or No Deal" event a little. I don't think everyone can watch the tv programms you can, so explaining it might help a little to let people know what it's about.

Deal or no Deal

Basically its a show that 25 girls lined up on a stage with brief cases and the contestant picks one out..now the values range from $1 to i think 1 million or something like that. Each round you have so many briefcases to choose and when your done choosing that many a person in a booth behind you calls down to the host and tells them a dollar amount to offer you..you can either take the amount "deal" or continue on "no deal".

Here's the twist..in order to accept the deal (dollar amount) you have to press a red button or you can close the glass case that goes over it.

If you continue down to the last 1 case the girls have then you open your and w/e it is is your dollar amount you take home.

Well, certain things would have to be changed.

Here are some of my idea's for it, if it were to be used.

1.) Lose the suitcases, use something like smaller chests (Something like the classic chests, probably a bit bigger. I'll work on it after the weekend)

2.) We'd really just need the event host to play 'the annoying bald guy'.

3.) Random drawing (Use the raffle? ;O) probably every month.

4.) GUI display to let everyone watching know what prizes are still up.

5.) Probably would need a script to decide what deals to make based upon what items are remaining, always being lower than the highest prize left, but higher than the lowest.

6.) Make the 'chests' clickable, so the user is only able to select the appropriate number of 'chests' based on where in the game their at.

7.) Of course, the one their holding onto wouldn't be able to be clicked :P

And I could go on and on. If it'd be something you'd all like to see come about in GK, and with appropriate staff permissions, as well as tweaking so as not to infringe on any major copyrights (Wouldn't be too hard, and idea's cant be owned), then I could get to work on the GFX for it.

Overall, I'd think it'd be a nice relief from the day to day grudge of hunting lords and killing them with a few 'small lightning' spells.
