New event system

I was thinking of having a kingdom event system where I put up some prizes and then assign some kind of point value to them. Then I allocate the right to give out certain amounts of points in events to various people. We'd use a forum thread to keep track of who has what, and members would be able to exchange their points for the prizes.

So I wanted to hear who would be interested in this and what kind of prizes people would want.

So basically you would have a Kingdom Event Point system and for so many points they could trade it in for a prize. THis is actually a good idea if you do it that way.

True, but that means that Zormite eventually can be flooded with a ton of "kingdom only" items. Making all the other items in the game completely useless save for a few.

Huh? Only if Bjorn decided he wanted to create an excessive number of kingdom-only items.

Then are you saying after the given amount have been given out then the people who have points that werent enough to spend are screwed? Youd likely try to compensate them, thus throwing off the economy. Honestly I am personally driving for kingdom items in Forest, but Im really afraid what its going to do to the current economy thats already screwd up enough.

It's mostly not going to be kingdom items, and even if it was, I can buy stuff myself you know.

It would be a perk of joining Zormite anyways. Joining CP gets into a strong navy, joining Dusty gets you in one of the more active kingdoms, getting in Zormite gets you hot events with a chance to get cool stuff, joining Samurai gets you a useless /kingdom tag command

I like this idea, and i'd love it to be implimented not just in zormite, but to the other kingdoms aswell. Hard work and service to your kingdom would be payed off, this might even make people more 'loyal' to their kingdoms. Yes, there's a chance that there could be a massive rise in the number of kingom items out there, but they aren't exactly supposed to be extremely rare, only maybie the very elite ones like the kingdom shields (not zormites or forests because they suck - forest looks ownz tho). I'm also enthusiastic about this idea giving way to more of the kingdom item set pieces being released, like dustari only has the boots and shield i think, whereas cp has bracers, gloves, shield, boots, wand, belt, won't say ammy..., helmet (is that all of them?).

Unless people have a problem with it, the point system will probably work that (in terms of value) one point = one diamond as that makes it easy to price things.

I want to hear more about what kind of prizes people want besides kingdom items, especially smaller prizes.

I'm pretty sure the other kingdoms, if they are smart enough , will impliment this idea since it's a really good one. The only problem with it is the funding required, especially with the brutals which i'm sure will be a big request.

This would be a good idea for all kingdoms. you could put diamonds, Bruts, Immenses, EA's, IWD's, Gold Keys. Any possibility of items.
