I am making a petition to abolish the mouse to shoot. (Trying to go at it in a way that shows the mass public is agianst it.)

Double Post, First post is for petitions. I have collected 30 names/signatures of people who want mouse click to shoot, abolished (destroyed), most are p2ps, and their are a few trials (suprised me since trials use it mostly). Since, the population fo Zone is usually at 40 througout the day, this is more than half of the players wanting it gone, so I would like to ask that action be taken.

P.S.
Please do not ignore this thread, as this is the voice of the people. If half the community of a town were to say no to something, then they would win, as it should be in the game. Listen to the voice of the players.

I know many people just want it -BAM!- gone. But I have a way to keep it and have it fairer.

Simply put: It only works the direction your facing. You face up and you can only have bullets go in that direction (<^, ^, ^>); you face right and you can only have bullets go in that direction (^>, >, v>); etc.

Thought of that but they can still shoot Diagonally with ease while the other player has to use the arrows, and go diagonally. But based off your idea why not just make it an alternate to S and D, make it the same they shoot in the direction they face it would be S and D just mouse instead of having to use the keyboard.

But still in any case, this would be alot better than what it is right now.

Mouse shoot is made to make it easier for new people, using the ASD stuff can be weird for new people really. If there are things about the mouse stuff that are unfair then report them, instead of whining.

I think the one way to make it fair is just make mouse like S, and D, just you click instead of pressing the keys, no aiming is what I am sayin. The aiming is unfair in a sense that is makes people who use the old method of fighting doomed to die. I am not trying to do this because of sheer hate of it, I want Zone to keep its old fighting styles, because mouse to shoot is making alot of people upset. If you could do this Stefan, we would be highly gratefull.

P.S.
I did not mean to sound like I was whining, I was trying to get enough Zonians together to show that the community can change things if enough of them agree on it. I wanted people to know, that although they are just players they are the people, without players the Admin have no one to make things for, as the players have nothing to play.

Ok. I am not whining but I am making a logical point. Well I know on zone logic isn't really needed anyway but... when a player is face down so you see there whole face and they want to turn diaganol if they use the mouse they just FLIP they don't turn sideways for an instant they just flip. Now for those of us that use keys we actually have to turn for a split second before we are facing up. Thats one of the big problems with the mouse shooting. Desear can explain this its rather challenging to explain it.

I just found out this can solve everything, just make sure they can not use the extra angles of fire to make it fair to arrow players. If you use the mouse you have 4 directions of fire that you can not get with using arrow keys.
