Why not add a canoe NPC like the draisine but it only works on water u press:
S: Speed Up
Arrow Keys:to change direction.

it could go down watefalls but not up them.
It would be fun and alot of people would like it.
I will make gani's if someone can make me graphics.

Yeah it is easy to make all i need is graphics and the scripting to recognise water tiles.

Instead of directions and S...
Why not just make it controlled by A and D for paddling leftward(A), and rightward(D)?
S could be the slow down key which could be combined with either A or D depending on which direction you want to slow down by.
