Hello, fellow members of Graalonline!
I am *Horrified, owner and manager of Horrification. We have been in development for around a month and a half, and this is some of our accomplishments.
First, I would like to tell you, to those who don't know, we are based on puzzles, which, in Horrification, aren't anything like a random maze; they are like 1 man events! All original, sculpted out of creativity to it's finest. We have decided that we would pull making these last; so we can perfect
everything the original graal system hasn't perfected, of course.
Let's start with one of our great systems: the Chat System!
Hmm, we seem to see a lot of options and such here...but why is the chat system invisible?! To save the room, of course. With Mouse over Transparency on, moving your mouse over the chat will make it
appear. Of course, just plan turning on your chat will take off the transparency of it as well:
My, my! Quite lovely! Of course, getting out of chat will transition you onto transparency as easy as it was to see it off. And, if anyone was wondering; it's also anti-spam proof, for all those who expect to see hundreds of "sdgasg" popping up on the chat history log. But, moving on, let's take a look at another side course of our lovely dish: Trading!
With trading, we always thought players loved selling and trading there items for others...but to do it never was as easy as this:
Hmm, it seems simple enough to set up what I want to trade for...
Wow! A window inside of a window...very nice!
To another, trading successfully is as easy as it would be for me to cancel it; pressing the button that would be "Cancel", which would be "Accept". Of course, you can also go for selling it for Gralats, which might be more useful on Horrification then most make it out to be on others.
Moving on, we know how much players like playing through short but sweet jobs, but we like to call them "quests".
Woah! Looks like I was given a quest!
Perhaps I shouldn't show how this is completed; it will be yours once, after all. And also, in horrification, finishing a quest will never leave you empty-handed; that's yours to find out.
Hmm, but what about getting those gralats you could trade in for?! We currently have two solutions to that:
Woah...an apple fell down from the tree! Although many like to eat apples, we always think selling apples is more important then eating them.
But that's bound to get boring eventually...just simply slashing down apples?! Where is the skill in that?!
That's why we have something where you throw down bait on a rod, and hope a fish grabs it. People like to call this "Fishing".
What is all of this?
The circle there is actually coming towards you; quite fast, actually. Your job is to press S at the right time when it crosses or gets near the red line; sound simply? Not always...
D'oh!
Hmm, but what about those puzzles you always talk of?! Well, we are still in heavy development with most of them, but we have got a nice set up of how you will pick them. I know most of you like to turn off your Graal "Taskbar", but Horrification has found a nice use for it: the Puzzle Select button!
What's this?! I haven't seen this on my other servers!
You can, of course, always press F4 if you'd rather not have it on either way. But what does it open in such fancy ways?!
Wow! look at that...haven't I seen this before?
So we modeled it a bit after the login screen...it just sort of worked out. That icon part that's missing? Oh, well we've got something in the works for there; you'll just have to wait a bit to find out.
