Restoring Order

Well, Zone has become an abis of nothingness now, every day i come online theres but 2 or 3 people online, it's basicly standing in empty hallways now. But you all know this. But what have you done to try and change it?

What i'm trying to get at is, if you actually care about Zone, form up with us and try and help get the server running again. Theres many things we can come up with that can get the server on its feet without Staff interfearing with gameplay.

So basicly, STOP WHINING THAT ZONES DEAD AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! In the words of JFK, but altered a little "Ask not what your server can do for you, but what you can do for your server"

Umm I think the biggest problem was that p2p's couldn't lame trials anymore and since they could get pwned themself they decided to stop playing instead of risking a higher death count.

Then plain and simple the people who quit because they know they can get pwned should come back. There is still base laming to get kills.

I can't play Zone right now. I walked into Guild Wars today and I lagged like hell. I went to play and got lamed by a carrot which just pissed me off. Tell me when you guys are on and I'll be there.

Damn the reason there's no players on Zone is because there's nothing but lamers on there. I get spawn and there's about 10-20 guy right at the spawn area with chainsaws killing people before they can even move.

ok, i want this straightened out, trials were not "lamed" by p2ps, they were "killed", they fight just like p2ps fight, in fact, most trials (take me and Hash for EX) are better than most p2ps :/ actually more laming is done by trials then/than p2ps so quit saying they are lamed when they fight fairly and and p2ps fight...mostly fairly against eachother, just because sumone has a higher subscription pla, don't mean they are Better.

I am better than any trial you can name. I am also better than most, if not all p2p's. However, their are a few exceptions. But that is beside the point...

No one left because of being lamed, they left because of v5. No one wants to play with half a screen and only a few classes to choose from, not to mention the limited time they get.

Once the trials left, the playercoutn went with it. Zone never had an unusually high playercount to begin with, once you remove the trials, it's over!

I could think of a few who could probaly get you down to less than 30 hp.

First of all, it was hard to understand. Second of all, this will not work. Ever hear of Hayashi vs Lost Souls? Both those guilds died out on Zone when the playercount was in the 50's, if not higher. This will not work at all. Where will you find all the players to join? You need atleast 10 members each to activate the guilds. Between two guilds thats 20 people. I havent seen Zone's playercount reach that high in forever.

trials and p2p lame, both of them is irritating. Thats why there's always a low playercount

It's kinda impossible to do that when there laming at the exact place you are spawn

I am still making my map but wether ornot it is zone quality is up to huwa. We will see what the staff do when stefan is back. Thread about trial stuff for those interested.

hmm, here's some ideas, go to another planet, use a jetpack and fly out, stay back and get behind covers and periodically move out and shoot them, wait for them to stop, gang up on them with a lot of other teamates, or get on another account and join their team,

I know your trying to help and thanks but I can't buy the jetpacl becuase I get killed before I can do anything.

EDIT: I have found a way to combat this, I don't know why I didnt realize it before. Just buy ALOT of proximity mines and just lay them asap as your appear. Kamakazi attack ;] Only problem is it cost money which you can't get if you cant kill, A paradox this is. -__-

. Well, i don't actually have much plans as to how we are going to re create zone, im sure Sayian and Supernanny have a few. But basicly we need people to actually make plans for restoring it. That doesnt mean he should grow up, that just means he knows the problems of Zone. Trials made Zone, and you cant dissagree with that.

Also, I have made plenty of ideas with SN, and I could easily make more, so just be patient. You cant make a server great overnight.

I think that maybe Zone isn't ready for no trials, maybe by v6 it'll be able to but now it's not.

I agree, Zones playercount just cant spare anymore. Trials make up Zone, and I hate to say it, but Zone seems to be the only server that is dependent on trials.

If the server is so dependant on trials why not put it down to classic for a month or so to get the playercount back up and to entice people. Work on that guest account problem then once its fixed move zone back up to gold status.

Yeah creating two guilds will do what exactly. The problem of lack of trials remains.

I think we have enough guns too but they're looking at new guns anyway, i think, but its the whole thing about "Will they be released in the ingame shops" or will they be buyable for USD instead. But that's not what this threads about, the threads about what can the PLAYERS do to help zone out, without Staff interfeirence (Not including ETs). I say, if Stefan/Uximad isn't going to do anything about it, lets take matters into are own hands.

So i'm not talking about what ideas could we have for new maps, more like stuff us players could do. Best idea i had so far was a War between two guilds, in which 2 of Zones best would lead. We wouldn't need Staff at all, just 2 people with VIP. I don't see how it could hurt, if it doesn't work, you just dispband the guilds.

You wont make Zone good with the help of the ET's. We need Stefan and Unix to help us, they wont unless we make a strong case for it's change. We need to put together well organized ideas and thoughts, or else they wont bother to read it.

The problem with the war is that you would need atleast 10+ people for each guild on at a time to make it any fun at all. I rarely see 20 people on at a time. The idea will fail, considering Zone's playercount is so low at the moment, maybe after Zone creates some new ideas/maps, than maybe the idea will be good once the playercount reaches in the 20's, and maybe even 30's. The idea that you are suggesting isnt horrible, but it does not suite the current status of Zone.

Alaightly i've seen Zone at 20 and around 20, and it would raise if there was actually some activity on it, so if there actually was a War going on it could raise even higher.

I think Supernannys working on peruading Stefan, but i believe hes on holiday right now.

But why would people come just to have a guild war? It's going to be hard to pursuade that many people to play Zone, just for a guild war.

Also, me and SN have worked on many idea's to pursuade Stefan and Unix to changing the way of Zone.

It's going to take more than two people to change anything, get Zone's entire population to say something about it, that will make a difference.

Im not going to force people to do what they dont want to. Me and SN have plenty of ideas, and if you could read, than you would know Jo and other members have already stated they would help.
