Symphonia: Hirings

Symphonia
About?

A fantasy RPG server where battling monsters, and doing quests is the key to success. There is an abundance of armours and weapons to acquire during gameplay as well as a large variety of monsters and spells. Many races and classes which specialize in different skills and abilities are yours for the choosing as well. Party up with your allies and venture through the enemy-filled dungeons and work together solve puzzles within them. Journey through all parts of the Symphonian world and uncover the rich and valuable treasures which await your discovery, or just hang out and talk with friends; The choice to your adventure is your own.

Storyline!

Many a year ago, the lands of Symphonia began to separate, not only between the nations, but physically as well. The ground began to crack and crumble and drift in all directions, leaving many islands, separating the many creatures and races that lived on these vast, vibrant lands.

Now, many years later, these monsters and races have developed the abilities to survive in their new lands and climates, allowing others to harness their teachings of their themselves, their skills and their abilities. Bringing forth power to the people of distant lands.

Hiring's!

At the moment Symphonia is hiring all Developing positions. (that includes LAT's, GAT's, NAT's etc.)

If you would like to apply for:
  • LAT- You must be able to show your talent to the best of your ability with Symphonia's tileset. You must be able to make insides as a well as outside levels. [Contact me about LAT positions, forum PM or player ]
  • GAT- You must be able to show your talent at making GFX and generaly be awesome at it [Contact Clockwork or Me about GAT positions, forum PM or player!]
  • NAT- Not my area of expertise, but you should be able to use GS2, and everything that comes under that category [Contact Chompy about NAT positions, forum PM or player!]

We would love to know your personal opinion on Symphonia and things that we could do to improve the Server

Alot of that is looking REALLY good Caleb. Chompy and you've been doign a good job. The only problem is (this is pretty much from what I see, I could be wrong :P) I don't see much to differentiate it from Zodiac. That grainy look, get rid of that. It's probably the worst used tileset look on Graal. There's no point it looks horrid. The rest of the tiles look good pretty much. Just need some more custom tiles and an edit to the pics1 tree. A couple edits really. But all in all. Thumbs up.

All the dashes and random pixels everywhere(especially in the water level) is killing it, I seriously suggest ditching that effect.

The tileset is one of the majour issues that need to be sorted. We really are looking/needing a new GAT who can help us remake some images and do something with the tileset!

Are you guys using the same texture you used on the grass on the water? lol. Thats not a very good looking texture btw, on the water or grass. Id change it.

Agreed, please work on fixing your tileset.

Cliffs - There is a tile to connect these smoother, find it and use it!

Paths - Too much of the same pattern can get repetitive in a small space, try using different designs.

Blue:
These tiles I actually kinda like.

Yeah the tiles you do like are the newest additions to the tileset. And the cliff tiles, I know where they are XD its just the gmap is getting old lol. Im going to fix all the tile errors and stuff when i get time, probaly next weekend
