Well my idea is making defending more fun and also trying to reduce some of the base laming.

By placing these guns (see picture 1) onto bases and deploying them near your home base (examples, see picture 2 and 3).

and for base one and all other other bases something like this (example):

The guns near the homebases can only be used by that team like the guns near Sweep can only be used by Sweep Fleet people, the guns can have a sweep icons under them to show that the guns can only be used for Sweep, the same goes for Storm Rider. The reason for this is to reduce the base laming and not increase it.

As for B1t/m5 they will have a grey icon on them or no icon, everyone will be allowed to use them so Sweep as well as Storm Riders.

He explained it well x.x He wants to prevent base/spawn laming by inserting turrets on iricia. He showed us where he would like the turrets with his blue circles.

well if it was player controled then somebody can still lame with mortor while others kill the people with jetpacks..
maybe make it player controled and it will only shoot automaticly if someone gets too close to the base?

Yes of course mortar laming will be there it can be done everywhere. If you don't want mortar laming to exist then remove the weapon but of course that won't happen.
This idea is only to reduce the laming and increase the fun.

I have discussed this with Stefan. he's thinking of putting a time limit that your allowed on the other team's spawn base then you get blasted to next year.

Then I couldn't lame :'( Thats what makes zone fun most of the time. Mortar laming...... just on the spawn base or around it? and in it? if its in the past then sweet more laming fast! [/blondlol!]

If it only works for bunker laming fine. It's annoying when they hold down S and get kills over and over because some idiots keep going in.

The only way you get motar kills is BY laming, it better just be the spawn and not around it, Stefan already killed the motar now we don't need it to be smacked.

They usually take PoW's when they invade home bases.

Like the Idea, except don't put them on the remote bases, like B5, B4, B3, B2.

(Probably not a good idea.)But that is just my opinion, also why not add a shield GFX or something to the bases, you could use the Beam GFX it would disable vehicles when getting very close to bases, so people couldn't run away on them or run in on them anymore. The Field would be in a square shape so that it will also be used during Vehicle Events, So people can not Fly over the base and lame, or Mech them.

Locations:
Sweep_Fleet- From the point of the base to the Wall.

Storm_Riders- Entrance/Exit to the base, their is only one, unless you have a jetpack.

The turrets should be automated to turn on instead of the nuclear bomb, so they can just clean out the base and give them a chance to spawn for a bit.

Interesting...maybe they can have them activate when theres 2 or more of the other team in thier hq area after 2 minutes of laming,or if all the bases are enemy controlled. Then they would stop when a minute was up, or the team had gotten a base. DO NOT PUT ONE AT B1!!! thats just screwed up. and it wasn't automatic.....ultra laming on the bunker door lolz.

I'm sure huwajux,gambet,stefan and me could sit down and make something nice...

But that automatic thing caught my attention...Maybe I should make a new graphic of a gun popping out of like the base, that would of course have hp, and would only come out every 5 mins or so...or maybe have a team command to get the turrets out?

Would be fun to have turrets on bases, that can only be controlled by the team that owns the base though, as stormy mentioned to me on player earlier.

I base lame because it's fun to do it with a bunch of people and I don't usually run because I like to give people a fair chance, sometimes I do run I won't deny it.
Raven, people don't base lame because it's the only way to get kills, hell I'm better fighting one on one, I often get killed a lot in base raids too.
Point is, people don't lame because they can only get kills that way, people lame because it's fun and easy kills.

I base lame quite often as a matter a fact thats the ONLY THING I ever do on Iricia to get kills cuz I suck there since theres so many ppl but oh well if you base lame? chances are that most of them are noobs anyway, not trying to flame you btw just saying my thoughts in the matter.

I haven't base lamed for 14 months+. I just sit near sweep_fleet base near the far north speeders and kill whoever goes up that way, gives them a nice chance to run through the southwest exit and get away.

I'll agree with you here Raven, something needs to be done about the base lamers who claim they're skilled.

I hang around Base 5 or Base 2 and get the kids that go for those
