Does INT effect damage?

Does INT effect magic damage or is that just a rumor because some people say it does and others say it doesn't.

I don't think it does, I mean I could have all kinds of INT gear on and still not be able to kill certain monsters in single hits (even at a really high level INT!).

Thats why I don't see the point in maxing my natural INT.

Int just happens to come with Rings of Elrond, Sash of Clarity, and Crown of Power. Chances are if you have high Pow, you have high Int too.

Having 3 cha doesn't mean you can't level personality.

Int has a direct effect on things like alchemy, woodlore, learning, item identification, and so on. It doesn't affect magic power. That's what power is for. (As well as for raising max mana / grace points.)

I must have forgotten to post the rest.
I leveled personality to 16 with 3 charisma on Felix_Xenophobe. Then got the exact same amount of exp (and it didn't take longer for me to control the monster) when I leveled personality with 15 charisma on my alt. account.
What I'm saying is that the stat Charisma doesn't help leveling the skill Personality.

As far as I know, it ups the rate at which you successfully orate, as well as lowering shop prices.

Seems to me that all it does is lowering the shop prices. Personality wasn't upped at all by having higher charisma when I tried it.
