New things for newcomers.

One of the biggest failures of GK is the way it looks after trial players.
Tutorial of the server is the most important part as it decides whether we will have a new player or not. If one player is dissatisfied we may lose more than 1 potential player cause friends will talk to each other about how good or how bad something is.

Sailing personally got me hooked onto Graal kingdoms.
I reakon since there is not a lot of servers which you can sail on its a key way to attract new players. So what do we do?

Why not revive noob island? Let it return and add ship builders on.
Let the trials sail around and sink each other and even allow them to sail to main island. You could add noob island as a new island on the server.

Trial members can also sail and walk all around main island but cannot go to kingdom islands. They can sail on those levels but they cannot leave the ship when sailing in those waters. visiting kingdom islands should be a p2p thing as you can have all sorts of things which will persuade you to buy, like houses and kingdoms.

This is the best way to get your people subscribing.
Plus noob island will be a nice little hangout for us. Maybe even add a new flag colour for noob island ships?

I've asked around. most noobs dont even know you can build houses or sail ships. They think they were bots at first. You must understand not everybody does tutorial quests and reads the dialog so let those little guys explore and see for themselves!

Just give trials full access without saving and deny them the ability to drop or transfer items (except for those necessary to complete tutorial like the apple).

Yea well you could do that...but having a new island would be a good thing for paying players as well. Its more sailing ships for pirates to sink, and a reason to move all that trial junk away and have newer better things in bomboria. Plus noob island was pretty cool and big. It would be nice to get some deadly monsters there and so on.
