Windows Vista Bug
There is a strange bug while using Graal in Windows Vista: When I right click on the playerlist, the Message option Doesn't show up. Also, unexpectedly, after about 20 minutes, my client just hangs and crashes. T_T It's really getting annoying now...

Can you please post your graal4console.log from your Graal folder, and any relevant details about your system, such as hardware adapters for graphics and sound?

Yes, the PM windows work but Mass Messaging does not......

And as of now the Client's unplayable for more than a few minutes so I have to rush before the client crashes.....

I also have some problems with PMing in Vista RC1 (x64). It's better than it was in Beta 2, though. I've been able to send a PM once. Every other time time, I get an error:

Access violation at address 0040F49F in module 'Graal4.exe'. Read of address 00000073.

When trying to read PMs, it will either freeze, give me a memory error, or open a PM window (with no message text) and freeze.

Sound also doesn't work (no errors about it in F2).

Wow, I closed out of graal after upgrading to RC1 and I get a:
Runtime error 216 at 00002F90
Then another one:
Runtime Error 216 at 00005C36
Hm...

I guess you didn't see the capitalised letters B-E-T-A within the iso images file name. Not being ****y, or anything?

The errors are unpredictable and DX10 is still brand spanking new, i'm not even sure if they released it yet in the BETA.

Perhaps you did not notice that the ISO says "R-C-1" and not "B-E-T-A."

It is not in the beta phase anymore. It is at release candidate 1, and it scheduled for RTM next month.

Stefan has said that he guesses the problems with PMing are due to differences in the RichTextEdit stuff he uses, but it has not been confirmed.

Of course there are going to be problems due to differences in operating systems. It is helpful to figure out what they are before everybody starts buying computers with Vista pre-installed on them.
