Moderator Actions

I can not see moderator actions anymore. I can't see deleted posts nor can I see deleted threads.

Its been going on for about a month, no one can figure out why. Were they disabled?

CidNight1142 is on a distinguished road
Something about the ability to 'hard delete', which eliminates the thread or post from existence. I don't agree with it, frankly, besides in the most extreme of cases.

But on a side note, I can still see some post and thread deletions. Like VT's response to Malinko moments ago that was deleted by Moonie for harrassment. That's there.

Quite often, offending threads are moved to a trashcan area which normal users cannot access, removing the notifications of deletion.

Normal 'soft'-deleted posts and threads should still be visible.

I see no reason for mods to hard delete posts. I haven't.
I think it was Unixmad that told me once that most threads should be trashcanned instead of just closed, to keep the forums cleaner, but some might contain information that can be viewed which might help someone, so they all are not trashed.

Can you link me to a thread with a soft delete. I haven't seen a moderator action in a long time

Look in the non-graal related forum, somewhere around 4-29 or 4-30
You should see one that I deleted

On page 2 of the NGRT there's a thread posted by Zephirot that was soft deleted by Moon Goddess and another one posted by Tom that was soft deleted by Kamuii.

A soft delete post look like this: http://forums.graalonline.com/forums...t=65710&page=2

8th post from the bottom, post by Vulcan.

A soft deleted thread is here, 3rd thread from the bottom:
http://forums.graalonline.com/forums...5&daysprune=-1

You should be able to see it, assuming you have the same usergroup as everyone else.

Did they switch my user group because I am a local moderator?

Possibly, although im sure they made Moderator your secondary usergroup (but you never know), you so you should still have the forum permissions inherited from a normal user.
