Armor Idea(newbs'll love it)

I recently thought of something, actuially pretty cool and I want comments.
well first I'll tell you my newb-daunting idea. I thoguht of armor, REALLY POWERFUL armor, BUT after you equip it and use the wepon/armor consistantly with each step it saps EXP from each stat.
Then my second idea would be a chain/set of related armor(Shield, sword, rings helm, bracers, ETC.) that completely SUCK, but when used in unison they REALLY rock, but they are, like most blessings in disguise, hard to come by.

Well, since you PMed me asking me to respond...I think it's a terrible idea. Just get a Plate Mail of Power and you get great stats without the experience loss.

Although it would be neat if we had items which inversely affect exp gain for a limited ammount of time. Say... a scroll which multiplies the EXP you earn by 0.25 for a few hours - and costs about 10 ECs

I like the idea of sets of gear that when worn together give bonuses. I dislike the idea about the exp. sucking armour greatly.

hey its a semi related topic.

Its true that some basic armour would be really nice for "newbs".
Something they can actually make easily without being killed 30 times to get it.

**I would disagree with the power of any such armour that you first suggest.
A cursed or tainted set of armour, or even crude armour perhaps a good idea.
