Guild Problem

I was on a server (wearing my Phoenix tag) and someone else in Phoenix logged on (wearing his Phoenix tag). Since guild tags aren't case sensitive, which they should be, he chose to have 'phoenix' as his tag. I had mine as 'Phoenix' but he wasn't in the guild section of my playerlist. I switched to 'phoenix' and then it moved him to the guild section. I think guild tags should be case sensitive or if that can't be done for some reason, this bug should be fixed.

If they were'nt case sensitive, you would have tags like EXE,eXe,ExE ect, which can be annoying. I always thought it was'nt case sensitive for local guilds.

global guilds aren't case sensitive anymore, and they used to be.

I personally like it better. There's no reason for them to be not case sensitive. So what if someone in your guild doesn't have the same case as you. If you wanted to toguild him, ask him to change it or change yours.

Simple.

And you get disputes about stolen names or tags, people create copies of staff or global tags, it is not worth the hassle.

If everyone in the guild uses the same case it looks better. I think it should be changed back to case-sensitive. It would look horrible if all the Phoenix tags were Phoenix, PHOENIX, PhOeNiX, pHOenix, phoEnix, and PhoENIX. If they don't go back to case-sensitive, there should at least be an option in the guild settings to enable/disable case sensitivity.
