The V4 release for classic P2P's?
Im assuming that the release for V4 for the classic accounts will be in the next month? Does anyone know if it will be released sooner?

I think vip users should have been able to beta test aswell as the select "team" that was already testing.

*whistles* We-e-ell I'm just itching to play with it! Stefan has been cranking out new versions of VIPs very quickly. This is a good sign that things are on track for release before October... but we'll have to wait and see O__o

Eh? That doesn't make sense. If he's 'cranking out new versions' this fast, it means there are still a lot of flaws in it. It also means that it'll take some more time until it's completely rid of flaws and ready for the general masses.

Well there is still 7 days left! Other setbacks have limited the release date too, so there will be some extra delays.

But it's not as if they have said something like a new gold world that you really should upgrade to will be released in september, then not, as most people aren't upgrading to get the final version as it will be available to all - so no loss on your behalf.

There will be a release to GOLD accounts for some time, probably a shorter time period, this is aimed to fix all gold server related bugs, and then it'll be fully released.

V4 is nothing for us Classic members as I'm quite sure they're limiting all the new feature to VIP/Gold. Don't treat us differently because we're not constantly upgrading

The only limitation I know of is that classic accounts can not SEND messages with the global playerlist.

I lagged with v3 . (And not with v4).

Plus, v4 doesn't have that annoying in-game playerlist, has a very nice particle engine, and not to mention all the other things listed here.

Yesterday Stefan said it would be released for Gold members in about a week. I'm guessing it will be released on Friday or Saturday. Just be patient.

God, i honestly don't approve of it being released to gold members but what say do i have in it i'm gonna hate seeing v4 flooded up with gold members but i guess it's for the best eh?

I for one can't wait for it to be released to classic members. I am tired of having to cater to all the different Graal versions because VIP are the only ones allowed to use Graal4 right now.

Ditto.

I can't release all this GS2 stuff because of that.

EDIT: I think it should be about time for the 'Gold' release. It'll allow more about to find any other bad bugs, and will allow more servers convert fully to GS2. The classic p2p release can wait until v4 is out for Mac and Linux.


EDIT: 4.02 is a GOLD release! (I beat Stefan's announcement xP).
