With v4, a LOT more people have been having UDP problems. (Universe-Destroying Packets? ) Perhaps the client could automatically check to see if it should use UDP or non-UDP?

I will check the UDP stuff. It might make sense to disable it completely though, because it only works if both clients can do UDP (and are not behind a proxy/nat or firewall), and these days there a lot of people that are behind a proxy or firewall. The voice-chat thing needs to be updated to be server-based.
